I recently received the HHAAOO Pepper Seed Corer Remover from Amazon, eager to streamline my kitchen prep work, especially when it comes to cutting and deseeding bell peppers. This 2-in-1 gadget promised to make the task quicker and more efficient; however, my experience with it has been a bit mixed.Upon unboxing, I was impressed by the design of the tool. It has a compact form that feels sturdy in hand, and the dual functionality of cutting and deseeding is certainly a clever concept. The bright colors and ergonomic shape suggest that it would be a fun addition to any kitchen gadget collection. When I first tried using the corer, I was optimistic. The tool did perform adequately, slicing through the pepper with relative ease. However, I quickly realized that the speed and precision I anticipated were not quite there. In my experience, I found that I could achieve similar results using my trusty sharp paring knife just as quickly, if not faster. This might be partly due to my familiarity with traditional kitchen tools. I have been using a knife for years, and it feels like an extension of my hand. While the HHAAOO corer is a novel tool, I believe it may not suit everyone’s cooking style. For those who are accustomed to using knives, this gadget might feel a bit clunky or unnecessary. I found that the corer's design, while innovative, did not provide the same level of control or finesse that I get from my knife. In terms of cleanup, it was relatively straightforward, but I still prefer the ease of washing a single knife over the additional pieces of this gadget. After giving it a fair chance in my kitchen, I've decided that this tool will not remain in my utensil drawer. Instead, I plan to pass it along to a thrift store, where it might find a new home with someone who appreciates it more than I do.In conclusion, the HHAAOO Pepper Seed Corer Remover is a well-made tool that could be beneficial for those looking to try something new in their kitchen. However, if you're someone who prefers traditional methods or values speed and precision with a knife, this gadget might not be the best fit for you.

This set includes a pepper seed corer and a bell pepper seed remover. The pepper seed corer is easy to use and works well. The bell pepper seed remover works better with the size of bell peppers that has 4 chambers. The size of bell peppers that only has 3 chambers doesn’t fit as well so it doesn’t cut as well. It’s still a good value, you just have to twist the seed remover more when using with the three chamber bell peppers.

It's just plastic but does a good job of coring and de-seeding my peppers. A handy little tool to have around if you're working with peppers often.

I had my doubts about this pepper corer but actually found it to work quite well, at least on bell peppers which is all I have used it on so far. It is very sturdily made and easy to use. It is the perfect size for red/green/yellow peppers and washes up easily. I have yet to try it on something as hard as an apple. Very reasonably priced. There really isn't any reason for me to give it other than 5 stars if you are looking for a tool like this one.

I was really excited to try this little tool because I absolutely do not like bell peppers BUT live in a home where I am out numbered, so yes I have to cook them a-lot!!Tonight the family requested stuff bell peppers!I need my peppers cut in half but the tool caused all 3 of them to tear.I took several pictures to show you my experience. There were simple instructions on the outside of the box (see picture) but nothing inside that gave more detailed information that might help us make sure we were using the tool correctly.I even went back to the Amazon listing to see if maybe there was a demo video and there was not.As the pictures show all 3 peppers did split on the sides. Since I needed my peppers to stuff we did have to stop using the tool on all of them to avoid more splitting.Be careful it is sharp!!!I can see where it would work depending on what you are cooking. We don’t eat apples but I am curious if the inside part would to quickly core an apple ~ my guess is it would.Maybe it was user error but we followed the instructions that were given.I will continue to try this tool and if my review changes I will update my review.

Interesting but wickedly sharp tool to core peppers (bells, banana, jalapeno, etc.) that have interiors large enough to allow at least a 7/8" corer to enter them. Not all peppers are Chili peppers but this tool is meant to use on them. You could use either piece to rotate and cut into the pepper, using the large piece for large peppers and the smaller for little peppers. Using this tool avoids use of sharp knives too. But understand the plastic on these tools are sharp too. Both the large and narrow pieces fit together for drawer storage. After using the large cutter on a bell pepper, I thought of another use. If making stuffed bell peppers, you could hold the larger cutter just inside the top of the bell pepper and use it to funnel stuffing into the pepper, making for a cleaner stuffing process. Just a thought. In the past I have had to cut off the top of the pepper and use a Loop cutter or spoon to clean out the seed core and veins. Very messy and wasteful. But this Chili Corer works much better. I especially like the small corer for making my Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers. Now I don't have to cut the Jalapenos in half...just stuff them hole. Great tool.
