Your cart is empty.This set contains one Pentel Multi 8 lead holder, eight packs of lead refills (Diazo non copy, PPC non copy, red, blue, brown, orange, yellow, and green), and a sharpener. Diazo non copy lead does not show up when copied by a Diazo (wet type) copy machine, and the PPC non copy lead does not show up when copied by a PPC (dry type) copy machine. Most modern copy machines are PPC. However, blueprints are still often copied by Diazo copy machines.The Pentel Multi 8 lead holder contains eight different colors of 2 mm lead in one convenient holder! Perfect for a designer or artist, this lead holder allows you to move from one color to another with ease --- simply rotate the plastic clip to the desired color, then press the top button to extend the lead. The lightweight plastic holder has a ridged grip area and a balanced feel in the hand.To refill the holder, turn the top knob until the silver line aligns with the black plastic arrow on the top of the clip. This will then completely release the lead when the top button is pressed down. Keep the button pressed down, and the clutch claw at the tip opened, so that you can insert your refill lead through the holder tip. Once your lead is refilled, turn the knob again so that the line is not matched up with the black arrow, so that the holder will catch the lead at the metal end.

I really like the ease of use for marking my scriptures and the cost of this product with the refills. It marks smoothly and it doesn't get caught on the pages which is nice. The only issue I would have is when changing colors it often gets stuck and won't let you cycle through to the next, so what you need to do is make sure the color you're using is placed clearly to the top and the pointers are pointing at each other. When turning, turn by the clip and watch the pointers to make sure they turn simultaneously. It's a pain, but compared to the other prices and when those break a little inconvenience is better than spending more money in my opinion.

I think Pentel makes the best writing instruments, & this is no exception. The pencil is easy to use, easy to refill & saves space by having all those colors in one place. It can be used for taking notes, coloring pictures, marking items on a calendar or keeping track of appointments by color. This pencil comes with refill leads & will last. Excellent value!

I used my last wax highlighter, and was having a difficult time with a replacement. The liquid highlighters are horrible for Bible pages. This pen is remarkable. You have all colors in one convenient pen with a generous amount of refills. Highly recommended for Bible study!

Habe bisher viel mit Pilot Color Eno gearbeitet, also Druckbleistifte mit bunten Minen.Nutze sie in letzter Zeit wieder häufiger in der Ausbildung, leider brauchen 8 Stifte auch mehr Platz.Bin dann hier auf die 1-Stift-Lösung gestoßen. Pentel als Marke kenne ich eh schon und bin sehr zufrieden.In der Praxis hat er sich auch als Glücksgriff erwiesen. Die Minen sind stabil, der Farbabrieb perfekt zwischen hart und weich, die Farben kräftig.Toll fürs skizzieren und markieren!

What I like about the Pentel Lead Holder is it's convenient to carry in my EDC sketch kit: ballpoint pen, 4x6 sketchpad and the Pentel Lead Holder for adding color to the finished sketch. The limited colors is also an advantage, as one doesn't get too caught up with overdoing the colors. Another advantage is that any 2mm lead cut to fit will work in the Pentel Lead Holder. Highly recommend.

I like this pencil, you have all the colors in one, you don't have keep switching to a different pencil for a different color. It has never jammed; the lead is smooth. It works like it is supposed to.The price is a bit high considering you do not get a lot of lead with it. I buy the bigger packs of lead, with the longer sticks, make sure you buy the 2.0mm and break them in half and use them. Lasts forever. Works great! So, the price isn't so bad that way. The dark colors of lead are a bit too dark to highlight with, it a checking pencil, not really a highlighter, so you can use those colors to underline or replace them with a lighter color of the same shade, the color chambers are labeled so you will want them in the same color tint.I have used it for almost a year not with no problems and I am a full-time college student. I bought a yellow pack of the sticks and none of the others and I am a full-time college student who highlights everything, and I probably have enough to get me through to graduation summer.It doesn't bleed through or rub off on the opposite page either. It is a really nice multicolor pencil.

TLDR: Great multi lead holder, very compact, excellent for travel, lead is great quality, mechanism to switch colors is smooth but a little unintuitiveIf you need a lead holder that holds more than one lead, this is the holder for you. The switching mechanism **can and will** break your lead if you don't use it right, so read the manual or look at a YouTube video first. The mechanism is a little non-intuitive at first, and mine seemed "stiff" but it has loosened up with (proper) usage.The Pentel lead this comes with are very high quality and have a nice, waxy feel. Most colors blend well, with the exception of the non-copy colors (which is understandable), and of course you can replace the lead with lead colors of your choice. The color names are printed on the side of the pencil, so if you want to replace with completely different colors you might want to try to remove that printing - or at least be aware of it!The price on Amazon was less than my favorite stationery site of all time, whose name is similar to "Airplane Writing Utensils", and this was the same quality and came packaged the same way. If it's cheaper on Amazon than on "Aeroplane Ink Holders", buy it here.

This pencil came with useful instructions. I use this pencil for checking engineering documents. I use red for errors, green for bills-of-material and blue for informational notes, and sometimes brown for software notes. Because the leads are so soft, the tip goes dull and also breaks easily. I like to keep the point sharp by rotating the pencil while writing. This is somewhat difficult because the somewhat large diameter of the barrel. The package arrived with a quantity of (3) leads of each color and a sharpener. This "Multi 8 PH 802", "for checking use" pencil is most useful for scribbling over items, like a highlighter. If I were to recommend a design change to this pencil, I would replace yellow with purple, replace "Diazo non copy" with a #2 or #3 pencil lead. I would also include some ideas in the instructions about ways to use the colors when checking documents. That would be a nice perspective.
