While it is a good fit, amazing color, and good with money value. It is flimsy. And is easy to break instantly. Using a colored pencil would be easier in my opinion. However I still liked this.

I know mechanical pencil lead is not very strong as is, but the red lead specifically breaks very easily. I don’t have a heavy hand while drawing, and I sketch light, but even with that the lead still snaps. I even keep the lead short at the tip and it still acts as if it’s too much pressure. However with the blue lead, I don’t have the same issue, and it has broken far less than the red. Overall not a bad product and I enjoy using it, I hope more colors become available at some point.

The lead breaks so often to the point that it is annoying, and it is not erasable. Pentel can do better. Got a few boxes of uni red lead, and never want to use the pentel one again. The uni one is soft but does not break! and it is erasable. making your drawing process so enjoyable.

Got these for the artist in my family. He wanted red and blue lead for his mechanical pencil and these were an absolute steal! Great price and good quality. One issue he's had with refillable lead is that they easily break. He's been able to use this lead freely without it randomly breaking!

Fast delivery, without any problem. Perfect as expected, the Pentel leads 0.5 aren't for a strong pressure when you draw but you can get used to draw with a soft lines thanks to them (because yes it brokes easily as all 0.5mm pencil leads). The texture of the pentel leads aren't like a basic color pencil it seems more "waterproof". I love it, very good purchase !

Just ordered recently but have yet to use the leads. Guiry's sells each individual tube for $1.59, but it's a far-ish drive for me. This was about 2 bucks more than if I got 8 tubes there.UPDATE: I love these for sketching/drafting and don't necessarily mind that they don't erase [well], but they would be even better if they did. I prefer the blue more, as it is easier for me to see the cool hue. They both can easily break. Will add photos.
