Unfortunately didn’t realise this is for letter size paper. The item itself is well-made but it is too small for my use with A4 paper. I wish I could get it in foolscap size.

Great product, simple but does the trick well! Only detail I'd change is the sticker label on the front - its a challenge to get it and the glue residue off - there are better sticker types out there that are easy to remove!

As a teacher, I have used countless methods to organize student papers as I cart them between home and work. This is my favorite and I've actually purchased a few for other things at home. My favorite quality is that is adapts to your paper load. The nights I only have a few papers to grade, it's small and almost as slim as a thick legal pad. When I have hundreds of papers to grade, they fit too. I've placed as much as 5 inches in it. At that thickness it's a pushed a little to its limit, but it still functions perfectly. Many "flexible" accordion-like organizers are mostly one size and even if empty take up a lot of room in your bag. The other great simplicity is that you can open it like a book and quickly flip between the sections instead of digging out papers from closed in sleeves to see what they are. I don't label the tabs because it's so easy to scan your entire paper load and find what I want, I often just shove a new batch of papers in the first open section I find and that is plenty enough organization. The cord that wraps over the corners keeps everything inside better than you might think from the picture (partial pieces of paper could theoretically slide out, but I've never had it happen). The plastic is sturdy and the first one of these I purchased is probably 10 years old now and still looks brand new.I use a second one daily to keep my desk clean. My desk can become cluttered easy, but now I just tuck things into this that need attention at a different time. When I open it, it's like I have 10 separate and organized desktops. I use a third one to organize important papers at home.

This arrived within a couple of days and was delivered in perfect condition. What a great investment of $8.41! I purchased it to help my roommate organize his ever-expanding piles of paperwork. As a business owner of a general construction & architectural design company, he constantly accumulates documents and the growing mess was driving me crazy! I specifically bought this to help him with one of his current projects, which involves a new-build residential home. I'll describe the contents of such a project so you can see why I found this product so useful...This type of project required a particularly high volume of paperwork. Along with his architect, he created the design for the home and also coordinated all of the various trades provided by subcontractors. There are multiple invoices by material suppliers along with lein releases and other documents that must be submitted in order to bill the bank for payments that are allowed throughout phases of the project incrementally. As with any home bundling project (or at least those in which the General Contractor has yet to adapt to the digital world), there were various handwritten notes that needed to be persevered in the event that they have to be accessed for reference or occasionally as supporting evidence of task completion. Eg: Changes required by the bank/inspectors or requested by the home owners.Additionally, the house was funded through Section-181, a special financing program available to Native Americans who wish to obtain a home loan on tribal land. Organizationally speaking, this means that there was a ton of additional documents to store... So you can see why I demanded a lot from my file sorter!I feel that paperwork is useless unless you can access any given document in less than 30 seconds so this is the goal I set whenever I organize files. The Pendaflex PileSmart Project Sorter enabled me to centralize all important documentation related to this project in one location. The built-in tabs with color coding were ideal for sorting documents by categories. I found the banding feature to be especially helpful as it allows a large volume of forms to be crammed into this folder.

I hate binders and needing to punch holes in paper and hearing that snap from the rings and trying to write on the backside of a piece of paper with the rings in the way. What a wonderful product! I can organize all my papers whichever way I want and not have to worry about punching holes and all that! I even throw in whole folders into some sections! I am doing my second degree and use this for school and totally wish I had discovered this when I was in school the last time. It definitely keeps everything together and organized! I can't even begin to express how awesome it is not to need to conform to the use of binders with this sorter! I also like that it comes with extra labelling sheets for the tabs so that I can keep using this for future semesters!

I was skeptical at first, but saw an expert organizer use this and gave it a try based on how organized she is! I thought, if she likes it, who am I to judge? I was so pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is; how quickly I could set it up with labels and it was ready to use; how fast I could get to the paper next to the label; how handy those colors are as indicators of the various sections.I bought two, one for my colored paper so I don't have to get up every time I want to pull a particular color to print on. I use the second sorter for categories I have labeled. I positioned the labels so the print is right-justified. I like the fact there are not so many sections that I have to worry about alphabetical order. This sorter is great for categories in which you want to slip paper in and out very quickly such as lists, notes for family members, items to buy, recent printouts. The two straps hold the paper very securely but do not rumple the paper. This sorter gives the effect of a 3-ring binder without having to punch paper.I'm using this item more to hold files I access often than as a sorter. It's colorful appearance makes it difficult to misplace, even for me! You could "get up and go" with this item very quickly, and put the paper back in place just as fast.
