I was afraid to buy them, but I needed them, and the price was not bad at all.So far so good. I do not overstuff them, I put as much as the 2" and they are holding up pretty good.My files never looked so good.

These were excellent, never new they existed, and fit into filling cabinet with lots of room left. It makes things easier to locate and not looking like a cabinet jammed with files. Should have had them years ago.

I've been using Pendaflex hanging file folders for years and have many that are 30 or 40 years old and still going strong. I especially like the expandable ones, which have an insert that goes into slots in the bottom of the folder to expand it to 1, 2, 3, or 4 inches, depending on which width you purchase. Once expanded, the hanging folder is the same height as the flat ones or the other sizes of expandable ones, so you can combine them to meet your needs. The expandable ones enable you to have a number of related file folders or documents (such as an instruction manual) in the same hanging file.I purchased these to fit into a fireproof document box that comes with letter-size hanging folders although it accommodates both letter and legal size. I'm using the document box to store legal-size documents, so I purchased my old favorite Pendaflex folders to fill it.

May local stationary store wanted $60 for the same thing. These come with some extra reinforcement which was a pleasant surprise. Amazon is awesome. :)

These are very sturdy and hold your files well – the cardboard / paper is secured firmly against the metal file holder rod and you don’t have to worry about tearing at the seams. The bottom expander supports the weight of additional files without putting a lot of strain on the top portion that hangs from your filing cabinet rod. The plastic tab divider labels fit snug into the top of the folder and you don’t have to worry about them being jostled out over time to disappear within your filing cabinet. If you are looking for a durable hanging file folder, I would recommend this one.

These are perfect for larger files you want to keep together. I have files for each person in the family. My husband has had several surgeries and it allows me to keep his medical records together. Then there are the kids school papers, award certificates, and progress and report cards sent home through out the school year. This allows me to keep all their papers labelled and together. I have a file for home, pets, cars, taxes, and employee papers. In addition I am a creative artist and use 9 x 11 size Bristol pads have a lot of drawings and art work that I keep in these box type legal size file folders. They are fairly sturdy and should not be a problem.This is the 3 inch box bottom which is great for large files, but if you do not have enough papers to fill the 3 inch order the 1 or 2 inch sizes, otherwise the papers kind of sag or slide down in the folder.
