Have not installed them yet but old ones I ordered a few years before were galvanised, very sturdy! The new ones are aluminum. They are sure not to rust, I just hope they hold up to the stress of loading and unloading boat!

The metal seems to be very weak, not sure what metal is it but one piece was not fully elaborated. I will try them and see what happens. My boat is not that heavy (200 pounds) and get back with my comments. But it does not look sturdy. Be aware

No way it will hold a jetski, it can be bent by hands

Do NOT buy. This is junk and cant’t function as a trailer bunk support. It’s some sort of very soft metal that will NOT hold the weight of a boat. This is priced very inappropriately for what it is. All the metal in these brackets is junk.

First use holding up a Yamaha XL1200 driving 15 minutes and 2 brackets folded over so the ski was bouncing around on the trailer cross beams. Hulls is now scuffed like hell. Avoid this garbage, has NO dexterity to hold anything upright on any trailer.

I can bend these thin aluminum parts by hand without tools. They look reasonable in the pictures but they're not very good quality.I haven't mounted these yet as I'm rebuilding my seadoo trailer but I feel like if I can bend them by hand, I don't imagine they'll support a 3 seater seadoo. Bottom line I guess is spend the 120 bucks and get galvanized steel brackets.

I read previous reviews that said these were lightweight aluminum, but decided that the stated 3mm thickness would be sturdy enough. The product information is deceptive-- the aluminum is actually only 2mm thick (remember, 3mm aluminum is 50% thicker than 2mm aluminum). Their fragility almost certainly makes them unsuitable as trailer bunk board brackets, but I have another use in mind and will likely epoxy two brackets back-to-back to get the strength I need. Thus, for my purposes, it gets 2 stars.

These are very thin aluminum. Way to small for anything over a 12 foot fishing boat or seadooTo return I would need to drive 30 miles to a drop location or pay half the price of the product to ship back.Maybe I’ll use them as shelf brackets
