Box feels light enough to remove/transfer when needed, but very high quality. Added some eye-bolts to secure it to the bed tie-down points with turnbuckles. Easy no drill solution so I can remove easily when needed. Fits very well under my bed cover and is securely locked with only one lock (supports 3).

Love this thing. It's sturdy enough to protect electronics on a cross country move, but not that heavy when empty. Add in the fact it's watertight, and it's a great way to move your stuff.

I use this storage box in the bed of my truck and it holds all my safety gear with no problem Fire extinguisher, tow straps, 25' HD jumper cables, portable tire pump/battery jumper pack and more! Keeps everything high, dry, and secure.

I was looking for a good storage box for my van rooftop. Thinking this would be the box to buy because it is advertised as waterproof and manufactured by Pelican but I was sadly mislead. The box upon checking after a rain had a 1/2” of water inside making what I had inside moldy. I really thought based on the cost and build quality it would actually be waterproof. Beware if looking for something to use to keep your equipment dry this will not do it. Very disappointed especially considering its high cost.

Looks like poor clean up after mold removal. Grinding opened up air bubbles in the seams, not sure what this will do to the box over time. Also, the box collects moisture inside during humid days, leaving me with wet gear.

I have a SUV with a government storage system in the back worth about $3500 but I wanted to remove it for weight and MPG and replace it with this! That allows me to carry way more and hopefully have a lighter load.This is my second Pelican case. I use my other one for disaster supplies. I'm incredibly excited and lucky to have this. I did not purchase the extra mounting kit for the bed because my SUV is enclosed.What I like about this is obviously the durability if I wanted to have it outside, or just even leave it out on the patio or at a campsite. I can trust this thing to be sealed vs. the elements or even bears.I like that there are three possible lock options depending on the way the case is facing or if you're really crazy and want all three locked. I like that it there are lots of tie-downs and flat latches.The only thing I'd worry about is someone stealing it.

Love that I can lock it if needed (when storing bang bang sticks and accessories). I got some foam to cut out to customize it, so everything fits nice and snug.Also perfect size to put on the cargo basket hitch on my SUV when traveling an it's waterproof, so no need for a cargo bag.It's very large and spacious. Excellent quality, as expected from Pelican.
