Good welding, box is square and true. Handles seem a bit sharp around the edges, so be ready to deburr a bit. You'll need underbody brackets and floor reenforcement to put heavy loads in it. I do not recommend using this in an underbody configuration without heavy duty mounts and a floor reenforcement.

Great for the price! Some of these aluminum toolboxes have gotten out of hand. I know they’re thicker and build a little better but these work well.

Bought 2 of these for my husband for Father's day to replace some old one he had. They look nice but they do leak. He had to drill holes in the bottom to let water out and put something in them to keep his tools up of the bottom.

I bought two for my husband's swamp buggy. They arrived very quickly. They were packaged GREATLY! Extra padding in the packaging box seemed to really protect. True to size. Appropriately amount of storage. Get shine. I would recommend.

Ordered 2 of these for my work truck. They are really light in weight. Mounted these on the rear of a semi truck, behind the cab. They do look nice. When the sun reflects off of them it is blinding. Price is not bad for these aluminum boxes. Put all my tools in them and seems to do the job.

I was a little apprehensive after reading some comments on this box. It arrived in perfect condition and three days early by FedEx. Care was taken to package the metal box. I inspected it after removing from the shipping box and found no blemishes, dents or anything that would cause me to return it. The door was square with the opening, the lock works fine and two chains keep the door from opening too far. I AM A HAPPY CAMPER! I mounted this on top of the Stromberg Carlson located in front of my Casita, Freedom Deluxe, Travel Trailer for the purpose of carrying needed RV supplies like fresh water hoses, water filter, valves, electrical box plug, wheel chocks, scissor jack handle, and small tools. In other words, stuff that we do not want in the TV (Tow Vehicle) and have no room for in the Casita because let me tell you it is compact inside there. Casita owners will understand. Thank you Arksen for a quality product delivered to my door. I might add that it is the only lockable tool box I found that would sit inside the Stromberg tray without modifications to the tray. So I've been modifying my plumbing box truck for some time until I get my actual set up it'll be like this for a little. I bought this because in the picture it look strong and heavy duty. I installed it inside of my box truck, so not exposed to outside elements. When I lifted the box I was like wow super light (that was a turn off).Pros:It's in my box truck so it's safe from weather elements. You can drill your own holes so you can hang it any way you want.Cons:Thin aluminum (to thin)I punched it and dented it without too much force. The hinges seem strong but the rivets seem cheap therefore might not last long. The aluminum welding seems cheaply done. The inspection of the entire box failed in my book for quality and sturdiness. Not very secure.I kept it because it's going to be secured in the back of the inside of my box truck which will hold my chemical products, Mapp gas, rags, and some spray bottles, and spray paint. I'm a service plumber. I will post a picture later to show what I'm using it for.I really don't think that this product being how thin it is and considering that I dented it with my knuckles when I punched it; shouldn't be used for outside hanging on a vehicle. I really think that with enough force I can blow a hole with my hammer on it and take what ever is inside. If you do buy it don't put expensive tools, products, etc inside because anyone with sticky fingers might get into it and take what you have. I'm very disappointed because the beginning of the description said, "Heavy Duty Aluminum Diamond Plate Tool Underbody Box," and that's misleading. I will be reaching out to Amazon to let them know. I have friends who are welders and I've been in the construction field since I was a little boy. My dad was a general contractor. I know heavy duty equipment and tools.

I would not use this to store anything over 15-20 pounds of gear. I have it mounted on the back of my camper van to hold recovery tracks, straps, etc. The competing boxes from van gear manufacturers are $398 and $620. The box is okay, but very then and flimsy. I mounted with 4 u-bolts and some 1/4" aluminum bar stock as washers inside.I have recovery tracks mounted on the left side of the box, using full-width aluminum flat stock on the inside as reinforcement. The end result is a semi-rigid box that is at least 80% cheaper than the equivalent in the van conversion industry. That said -- those boxes are also all aluminum, yet they are 50% heavier. Metal thickness and powder-coating are two qualities that you are sacrificing with this box. This is the kind of toolbox I'd put on a cheap trailer, but definitely not underneath my flatbed. I need to play with the latch assembly to see if I can force this to close tighter -- I would 100% not trust it to be truly water resistant.
