It’s a fault, I know. But I can get a bit miserly about consuming supplies. So it helps when I run across a needed item that is less expensive. It helps me loosen my grasp a little, so I can get back to the important business of creating.Visor protectors are essential to staying on task, while maintaining the best possible visibility. Gotta have ‘em. However, I’m a frugal guy, so not only do I like it when I can get stuff cheaper, but it impresses me when a designer comes up with an idea that makes things run more smoothly, or more practically, or elegantly. For example: the previous visors I bought required a protective box for shipping because the visor protectors are of course an odd shape and thus are vulnerable to damage in shipping. —But some lowly designer in THIS company, thought of a way to make the protection built-in to each visor sheet. Each sheet, instead of being cut into its odd shape, is cut, but left attached to a backing material, so that the shape of the unused visor sheet is a rectangle …and therefor easily ships in a simple envelope, rather than requiring a box. —I hope he or she got a raise for that simple but useful innovation.
