It fit as expected, but the strap on one side wants to come loose while placing it on your face. I found I had to hold that part until tension was created by wearing it.

Used to replace an original 4 year old 3M 7502 head harness that broke in half. This costs less than half the price of a new 3M 7502 mask.Since there were no problems with the original 3M straps, which were already adjusted to my liking, I detached the broken harness part and replaced it with the new part. I'm keeping the new straps as spares.The main structural difference that I noticed is that the thickness of the replacement harness is about 0.1mm thinner than the 3M harness and the plastic used for the replacement is more flexible.The 3M plastic surface is slightly textured while the replacement plastic surface is smooth.The 3M harness has extra markings that the replacement doesn't have including: CE 2797, EN 140: 1998, B1.They are both marked C.A. 12011, have the forward face icons, and have a date code in the same location.I didn't bother comparing the straps.

Old head piece for my 3M mask just snapped after a couple years. This is an exact replacement!

I wouldn't be surprised if this IS technically OEM parts for the 3M 7500 series respirator. Which that's what it's for - the 7500 series (slightly different harness setup, w blue plastic instead of gray), but you can absolutely put it on a 6000 series (I'd done this with leftover parts of old dead respirators previously). Great option if, like me, your skin eats the elastic so these parts die after 6 months!

Well, it works as described and it fits my 3M respirator perfectly. I want to say that the elastic is maybe slightly wider than the original, which is a good thing. The elastic is tight and the latch connector works like the original. Great value for a replacement.
