This is like water. It hardens the wood just fine but it is so runny. I needed it for the trim around my windows and it just slid and dripped everywhere when I injected it into the wood even when I brushed it on it dripped all over. Good product just wish it was a little bit thicker. Did the job tho

We had a windowsill that was rotting from condensation in the kitchen. I used this and was able to save the windowsill rather than having to replace it. Looks great! You’d never know there was ever a problem there.

I am repairing 125 year old rotted wood old growth fir window sills. PC Hardener soaks right into the wood and hardens in a few hours. After it drys you can tell if you missed a spot by sticking your finger nail or a screw driver in to see if in resists. Easy to apply to a horizontal surface. You need a brush for vertical surfaces where it tends to drip or narrower areas like window trim that is fluted. I bought a box of cheap chip brushes to work with the hardener. Virtually no odor! I bought the smaller size 32 oz to see how it worked and how far it would go. Photos are before and after on west and east facing windows and typical of the rotted weathered sills on my house [30" wide 6" deep] with deep cracks, some of which go almost al the way trough 2" thick wood. One 32oz container hardened four window sills and the 24oz PC Woody epoxy filler set was enough to fill those four sills. Easy to clean up spatulas and hands with denatured alcohol. Easy to sand the epoxy with 80 grit sandpaper. It feels like a great surface to paint too.

I live in a mobile home- once you get past the ick Factor associated with mobile homes they're really a very good way to secure housing where I live as apartments are extremely expensiveSomeone decided to make all the subfloors inobile homes out of MDF which is that garbage stuff made of sawdust and some kind of binder. The subfloors fail in everybody's motorhome and it is not inexpensive to have it repaired.I really love this product because when I apply it directly to that garbage MDF it makes it hard probably harder than it was when manufactured. When I see the MDF getting kind of soft I apply this miracle stuff and I live to fight another day.It makes repairs so much easier and less expensive and at $10 a bottle I've also used it to repair my wooden porch and I'm thinking there's probably a great many things I could use it on.I thnk virtually everyone should have a bottle of this under their sink.Hopefully they don't have MDF subfloors but they probably have some wooden patio furniture a deck or planters that this product will easily repair!I recommend it to everyone and I think if you buy it you will find it extremely useful.

I have an old house that always seems to have something in need of repair. I recently purchased this combo pack to help repair a rotting window sill and I must say I am impressed with the results. The wood hardener did a great job of hardening the rot, ensuring a strong foundation for the repair. The Gorilla wood filler was easy to apply and worked like a charm in filling in the damaged area.I appreciated the convenience of having both products in one pack, as it saved me time and effort in searching for separate items. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the repair process smooth and stress-free.Overall, I highly recommend this combo pack for anyone dealing with wood rot or damage in their home. It's a reliable and effective solution that delivers great results.

Using this to stabilize old rotted timbers on a 100-year-old Tudor-style exterior. I had been using the Bondo wood stabilizer, which is a good product but it's spirit-based and smells awful and not good to breathe. This product is water based but still manages to absorb into the wood very effectively. Dries overnight (the Bondo product is faster, a couple of hours) You can kind of squirt it on a horizontal surface and brush it in. For vertical surface, I have found that the best method is to pour a little of this stuff into a party cup and use a cheap bristle brush (1 inch artist's brush works well) and just kind of dab it into the wood. The main purpose of this product is to harden the surface of rotted wood so there's a stable base for an epoxy putty (bondo or any of the specialty play-doh type putties.) which you use to fill the holes and recreate the shape of the wood. The putty itself is rock hard so it needs something hard to hold on to, otherwise the whole thing would fall apart when you shape and sand the hardened putty.Anyway I like this and the price (while not cheap) seems reasonable. This bottle will probably handle 5 or 5 square feet of wood surface that needs to be treated.

I renovated a small cottage that didn't have a big budget. There was tonnes of non-structural rot where the previous owner had made some not so great decisions about using spray and sheet foam. This stuff saved the day. I removed the worst of the rot and then sprayed this stuff liberally where they might be rot or where rot had occurred but couldn't be removed easily. It soaks into the wood and the wood hardens up nicely. I was able to nail into it where required no issue and having removed the water (pooling behind the spray and sheet foam which was also removed) the ants are gone.

Works very well used it on woodworm damaged wood and rotten exterior wood. Takes longer to dry then solvent based products but has almost no smell so is brilliant to use indoors. Expensive but goes a long way. Won't be using solvent based hardener indoors ever again.

Used P-C Petrifier which had the consistency of milk. Likely diluted glue. Used the product on very Rotten wood in a tight place, using a syringe with a needle I got from a Farm-Ranch Supply. I saturate the rotten wood, but it did not dry in a day. Took about a week. Even then the wood was not fully hard, but slightly spongy in places. After a week plus delay I purchased some two part Epoxy and squirted this into the wood thru small holes I drilled. This did the trick. Now I know not to use this P-C Petrifier for severely rotten wood but use PC Rot Terminator, a two part epoxy formulated for penetrating and sealing/waterproofing rotten wood. The Epoxy is fairly think, but barely thin enough uptake in the syringe, very slow going with a large needle. Squirting out was easier than uptake into the syringe. Regular two part epoxy was to thick to uptake in to a syringe the same way.
