Very easy to assembly, my ferrets love their new cage. And easy to clean.

Full disclosure I use this for my chinchillas and it gives them a ton of room to run around. Really nice quality and feel really sturdy! I like the multi level doors for easy accessibility.

This catio is awesome. However make sure you use a lot of zip ties. It is very easy to roll inside from a balcony. I bought this for my daughter's 2 cats. She decorated and the cats enjoys the outside. It sturdy as long as to put it together correctly and add extra zip ties. Rolls easy in and out of apartment. We did have a problem with the latches when we got it but it was a easy fix. They were stuck a bit. But we are most pleased with the purchase. Cat move around it find. You may think it is small and a weird design but the cats have no problems with it. It is taller than I thought

The only thing good about this cage is that it's tall, but what does it matter when it might not last at all I only have one cat and the wires hurt his paws. He can't use the stairs because of the wire and I had to make platforms for the levels but wen he jumps on them they are so flimsy the whole cage moves and the shelfs bend he is only 10 pounds. I might return it if I can't find a way to make it comfortable and sturdy.

Overall the cage itself, is large, very well made and configurable. You will need to line the shelves with cardboard or something solid if using it for cats or kittens (the bare wires are not comfortable for little feet). You'll also need to cable tie every 6 to 12 inches where the cage sides meet. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to put it together (with cable ties installed). We used the cage as a recovery area for outdoor stray cats we had spayed/neutered. The only weakness is the doors... they are not made of the same material the main cage is constructed of and are bendable... we put extra clips on the doors to keep racoons out and the cats in. If you are using it indoors you probably won't have a problem, but you will need to make sure the included plastic door clip is used to secure the latch... we have a few clever cats around that can easily unlatch the doors without the clips installed.

Locks are welded on upside down so you can not lock the doors or use the enclosed buckles. Clever kittens figured out how to unlock the doors. Always having to round them up until I purchased industral snaps (buckles) to lock the doors. This is one of the easiest "Catios" I have put together. It is sturdy. Wish the plastic tray slid inside the enclosure instead of being underneath a wire floor which is dangerous for tiny kittens. I have to cut cardboard to make a suitable floor for babies. The included hammock is a favorite. ( I would purchase another one if the company if it were an option)The included bed does not stay on the platforms because there is no way to fasten the bed to the side of the enclosure / platform. I sewed ties on the bed to avoid having to keep removing it from the litter box when it fell off the platform/The design of the enclosure is wonderful for kittens to learn to climb - sometimes I think they are little monkeys in disguise.

my review is based on 24 hrs after owning this. wire shelves and ladders are dangerous for feet and toes. cat toes caught immediately she went inside and struggled to get it loose for a few seconds. I knew this ahead from reviews..and plan to cover each piece with some type of material. I placed it in front of a normal front door so you can see it's just about that same size. Mine arrived in perfect condition and came with a bunch of flimsy cheap zip ties., I did buy sturdier ties separately.. the doors could be a problem with an animal trying to get out it will likely need modified per animal type for security and safety. it rolls nice and smooth.. the bottom tray does slide out once you get it aligned right. it only allows for sliding out on one side which is the right side. you can see in my photo the wheel bolts sticks up too high and pushes on that tray which is main reason it won't slide out smoothly . you could always get shorted ones at a hardware store. I feel the shelves are too flimsy for a 10 pound cat, they will also need reinforcement. So basically I have more money and effort to get this in proper safe working conditions for temporary housing of a cat. so far with zip ties and reinforcement materials we are another $35 in so far ... Its super simple to build, it was basically together already in the box. Two people makes it easier. They waited a week to ship it after purchase which was annoying maybe because I don't have Prime.

What I love about this cage is that it is narrow enough to have a small footprint in my condo, but it is high enough for my two new kittens to climb and play to their hearts' content. They can also have a little distance from each other when they need it. In fact, I was able to put wet food on one level, dry on another, and water on a third, as well as a decent sized scratcher and litter box on the cage floor. The construction is not as heavy as some other enclosures I've seen, but it is durable enough, especially when used indoors. The sections snap together, and everything that's needed for assembly comes in the shipping box, including hardware and casters. Plastic ties are also included and come in handy to keep the cage walls and doors from slipping out of place if the cage is moved around. I especially love that any water, kibble, or litter spillage is caught in a large tray under the bottom level, and it is easily pulled out for emptying and cleaning. My only concern is that, as my kittens get older, they may figure out how to open the cage doors by pushing up on the latch releases, so I will be seeking a remedy to reinforce them.
