I screwed up and didn’t realize that they do not float which is absolutely the most important feature of one of these. When they fall to the bottom, they collect sand particles and little rock particles that can easily scratch your tank. Make sure you get one that floats!

My grandson put together a beautiful small aquarium for me, so when the inside walls needed to be cleaned, we ordered this product. It's size is perfect, but we've found that when any 'green' shows up, that it requires going over it repeatedly, & the inside 'walls' are not beautiful and clear like they should be. We think the 'residue' on the inside of the aquarium has built up on the product itself rendering not effective. Great size, & great concept, but not the best result.

The scraping side is velcro material. It leaves thin streaky lines through spot algae, rather than rubbing it off. Get a felt sides scraper, like aqueon’s instead.

I bought 2 of these for our small aquariums. They work well and I think they should last a long time based on their build quality. Keep them out of the water and dry when not in use to extend their useful life.

I got these for my 5.5 aqueon tanks. Overall they’re good but because I purchased some 20 of them I have to say they’re a bit all of the place. Quality wise they’re designed well and sit well in the hand however some will be magnetically strong than others. Some of them are ultra strong, some barely qualify as an algae scraper and a lot in between.Something to keep in mind is if you’re getting a round algae scraper is that it won’t do the corners of the tank. If you want to do a corner you need a corner to get into it like a square or rectangle. However I will admit being round makes them feel better in the hand and they feel easier and more pleasurable to use. For what they are and the price, they’re a good purchase.

With multiple tanks, I prefer using several mag scrapers rather than dragging one around to each tank. My first tank was only 14 gallon cube, so I bought the small version. As I got bigger tanks, I bought bigger scrapers like mag float and flipper. One was way too big even on 75 gallon and just a hassle to use. The mag is ok at best. I went back to using these since I like the size and ease of use. Honestly I prefer the smaller of two in the package and will stick to that version in the future, but even the larger one in this bundle is just easier to use than other name brands. Definitely sticking to this brand!
