The only reason I didn't give this slider handle a five is because the inside handle was a little loose, so my handyman had to add some washers to tighten it up. He also had to drill the holes in the metal frame so he could recess the outside handle into the existing holes. It is a beautiful handle and looks really good with those minor adjustments. I especially love the outside handle since I can place my hand threw the handle for more leverage to open and close the door. My old hand had a flat surface handle and was hard to open a heavy slider door. I like mine so much that I'm going to buy another one so I can give it to my 82-year old neighbor who needs a new door handle for her slider.

I purchased this Hillmaster set for replacing my last patio door lock set which worked for more than 10 years. My patio door is 1-5/8" , which is within the range (1-1/4" to 1-3/4 " door) specified for the Hillmaster set. All other dimensions of my gate exactly matched with those specified for Hillmaster set. The lock was installed without any issue. Problem was for the handle. Three sets of screws were supplied . Only one was usable with my gate size. Still the handle could not be installed firmly. So the door could not be opened/ closed with the handle. The handle was coming out loose. I would have returned this item, had the lock not been installed. Can anyone give any suggestion how to fix this issue ?

Looks good and they are holding up. It really helps when you get the rollers on the door replaced so the door slides with much less effort.

I had a handle break off my old patio door. Replaced it with this one. Originally the door was a little hard to lock as well. Installing this solves both issues. The handle works and it locks easier then it ever did before. Very happy with this one .
