It's not advertised as a straight edge... So seller is not to blame. I wanted to use this in my design studio for a straight edge to use for cutting out patterns. It's not true, it's bent. It would be better suited to someone who is going to cut it up or use it in some other kind of way. Beyond that, it is 100% real brass, it was packed pretty good and shipping speed was average. Didn't work for my needs but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work out well for your needs. I would recommend this seller.
