While not essential, I find this versatile tool much easier to use than a knife for trimming sheets of pasta dough and I love the fluted edge for cutting handmade ravioli. The price was reasonable and it's good quality.

I was really hoping the crinkle side would cut cute crackers but it doesn't really cut at all. We can only use the straight side so no cute crackers here. Disappointed!
