These aren’t the fanciest tools. But they’re solid and they do the job well.

The first order was damaged because of delivery and Amazon was quick to replace it. Use this to make pasta and pierogies and so far so good. I got more bang for the buck then ordering the KitchenAid one happy with this product.

I agreed to make my Gmas family 150 yr/old noodle recipe for a fundraiser which basically consisted of 4 dozen eggs worth of noodles. My grandmother would have been thrilled at how quick and easy these were to cut (after a slight learning curve). She was always game to adapt to anything that would make her life easier (like when I told her I sometimes cheated and used the hair dryer to get the noodles dry faster).Ended up being really expensive though, as 1/2 way though the 35 year old kitchen aid mixer stripped its gear and I had to get a new one 😭 (getting the other one fixed so now I’ll have a back up!)

I read other reviews and decided to take a chance, and am I glad I did. Not only did the box arrive within a few days, the three pieces are very well made of stainless steel and are a perfect fit. I am very pleased! We used the roller blade and the fettuccine cutter the next day and were absolutely delighted with the result. By following the directions of repeated flattening in the roller blade and then ultimately placing the long, flat pieces, which we cut in half crossways for easier handling, we had wonderful fettuccine. I'm sure part of our success was getting the recipe for the right amount of flour and number of eggs. (250 grams of oo flour and 5 egg yolks and 7/8 of the five egg whites seemed to work perfectly.) The yield was just short of a pound, 15.9 oz., and we had plenty of fettuccine to make our Alfredo with. I just ordered the Cofun meat grinder so I can make ravioli filling with a variety of ingredients.

Bought this product to attach to my kitchen aid mixer to help make pasta at home. Was deciding between this and the original attachments from KitchenAid. Ultimately went with this Cofun attachment due to price. Glad to say that this was a well worth it purchase. The weight is as heavy (the same) as the OEM attachment and functions great. I’ve used this multiple times to make great pasta noodles. Here are some things to note about this product:1) fits perfectly into the kitchen aid mixer attachment area and the weight is slightly heavy2) when using the pasta roller, the numbers are different from the original. To roll out your dough on the original attachment, the widest setting is 1 while narrow is 8. However, Cofun’s attachment is flipped with 8 being wide and 1 being the narrowest.3) you cannot wash or immerse the product in water. The great thing is you actually don’t even need to wash the product if your dough is made correctly, which helps with the clean up.Overall, great product to help make pasta at home. If you are deciding whether or not to get this, i would so go ahead and buy it.

I've been making pasta from scratch for over 50 years - the last 35 years I've been using a Imperia 150 and loved it. It's fast and simple and honestly it offer's a thinner sheet of pasta that most people prefer - especially when it comes to angle hair pasta. The COFUN rollers will not quite produce as thin a pasta sheet. However, the three attachments of the COFUN set work flawlessly and actually faster than the gold standard of manual tabletop pasta makers.OKAY, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS: This product will work flawlessly if you if you make your dough on the dry side. If not, you'll probably end up with a mess, a serious dough mess all over the rollers and cutters. Here's how to tell if your dough is dry enough. Dust both sides of hunk of dough and using the palms of your hands, flatten or a rolling pin, make a rectangle. Re-dust both sides again and open your rollers to their widest position and feed the dough in. Now feel the dough. If it seems damp, your dough is too wet so dust the entire sheet on both side, fold it lengthwise dust it again then put it through the rollers again. If it still seems damp, repeat this process. If not, adjust the rollers a few notches, lightly dust both sides and put the sheet through, adjust the roller a couple of notches smaller and repeat. Continue until it's the thickness you desire and run it through you cutter. Your pasta will be perfect. Just remember to light dust the pasta and re-roll is several times until it doesn't feel overly damp. Next time, make your dough drier to start. Remember that dusting means exactly that. I sprinkle a tiny amount on the sheet and spread it all over with my hand. That way, the dusting will stick to the dough sheet and you wont gum up you cutters.Believe it or not, I make my dough in a large Cuisnart food processor. I adjust the dough by adding a TEASPOON of water or adding a LITTLE flour until the dough is the consistency of beach sand. Larger clumps means your dough is too damp so add a TEASPOON of flour atat a time until you have the proper consistency. Your pasta will be perfect.
