I've been afraid to try to replace this since I got the car used in 2018. Wasted time and worry because it was a breeze to replace. My only problem in the whole ordeal was finding the right tool, because of course I didn't own one. I ended up using a busted keyring to press in the tabs to pull the old one out. All that time having missed out on the android auto app and having to try to watch my map app in the better cup holder instead of the infotainment center. What a missed opportunity on my part.

Old usb port was dropping the signal to the infotainment screen. It was the correct part. It was easy to replace. Works perfectly! Signal doesn't drop anymore when using it for driving directions.

As advertised. Worked perfectly and was a snap to install. Took me 5 minutes to install in a 2006 G6 GTP. OEM and 1/3 the price of what they wanted at NAPA.
