I ordered this hoping to troubleshoot a headlight issue. The bulb didn't even lock into this thing. I did send a note to the manufacturer and never heard back. I will assume they know their product is garbage and simply chose to ignore another complaint.

Plugged in a new H7 bulb in this socket after the other socket had burnt out. Has only been one day, but it's working. Probably saved money not having to buy official parts from dealership. Feels good having two low beams again on the road.

5stars ! I had to replace a faulty base, and even though this one is a little bit longer, it's not a problem at all and it fits perfectly. My car is a Passat 2014 (TDI Sel). I'd buy it again, of course!

Giving it 4 stars because I had to shave 1/4" off the tab so the gasket could seal that goes on to seal the headlight from moisture. It was an easy fix but to some it might not be. I just used a multi tool and it took me 3 seconds. Other than that it's on and working just fine.

I had tried a cheaper version of this socket but it did not work. This one worked right out of the box.
