Painfull installing the front cross bar. Alot of playing around . Threaded hole could be 2 mm closer the edge of bar would make these fit better on crosstreks. Mis measured . The rear bar was absolutely perfect. Change the front them you'll get 5 star rating continuously.

Attach are decent but still feel a little cheap. Was easy to install and look pretty good. I'd say they're good for the price. Recommended.

I lost the bottom connector pieces to the factory crossbars and bought these as replacements. Overall very satisfied, they were sturdy and connected well. We drove 400 miles with two snowboards and a set of skis up there, tied down securely, and it went really well.I give 4 stars because the directions are a little wonky, even though these are easy to figure out and install. In the directions the end connector pieces are already connected to the crossbar pieces. That would've made the hour long installation a good bit shorter. Again, overall satisfied with this product and how they fit on my 2015 Subaru Impreza.

First of all, a lot of photos in these reviews show completely different crossbars, so I don’t know what that is all about. I bought these for my 2014 Crosstrek. They are fairly sturdy, but are not a perfect fit. The front bar in particular is having some difficulty. Instructions are lacking, and my bars/clamps did not come with any arrow imprints or anything to indicate which part goes where. Thankfully the bars are obvious; one short and one long, long is front and instructions tell you that, but the instructions also rely on those arrow imprints. I am still left guessing if the clamps are on their proper crossbar, or if it makes a difference. I have removed and replaced them twice, and it appears this is the closest fit. I am seriously considering if I want to return and get a more trusted, better fitting product. If you are trying to tighten these to get rid of any gaps similar to my photos, careful how far you tighten. You can strip the Allen screw heads. There is a review that these dropped a kayak on the road, and while they feel pretty sturdy now, that’s a serious issue that could really hurt someone on the road, not to mention your belongings. Good value, product and QC needs improvement.

I bought them july 6, 2020 and today august 14,2021 they broke off my vehicle with the j rack and kayak attached on the interstate. I had them tied down properly and had hauled 2 kayaks at a time normally, but today I picked up a new kayak. The crossbars broke off my car and by the grace of God no one was hurt and the truck behind me ran over my kayak. I’m very disgusted that they weren’t sturdier and didn’t last longer.

I love these bars. They fit perfectly on my 2019 Crosstrek. And the price ia right. Easy to assembled and easy to install on my Subi. I was also able to install my Kayak racks on them.

I have a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek and they fit perfectly. I painted the hardware it came with to ensure it doesn’t rust but other than that, they’re nice and pretty sturdy.
