Designed as a general purpose mold release agent on fiberglass and metal molds and as a smooth compatible prime coat for PVA coatings – such as Partall Film #10 and Partall Coverall Film – or as an effective stand-alone release agent where standard silicone wax releases cannot be tolerated.

Using for laying up fiberglass in a tub shape. Used 3 layers and rubbed into surface with a shop towel. Would have given it 5 stars if it pulled out like butter. Works pretty well. Could supplement this with a vinyl type paint on release agent.

Great way to ensure clean part separation, definitely better than plain carnauba wax. Paired with PVA and it is a can't miss separation.

2 coats of this wax followed by GB chemicals non silicone spray is allowing my printed molds to survive the forged carbon process.

Great product. I use this before PVA for best results. I can’t comment on how the product works for mold release alone as I always pair it with pva.

I apply with a cheap paint brush. This is just wet enough to easily apply. I love this wax and will order aghain and again. My projects are larger, and I like to blow air in with home compressor for release. This wax fills the holes on surface very well so I can then blow air from rear when cured. If you are making replicas, this is a great release. PS: I apply and go. I dont wipe off. I also spray a PVA mold release over, which is likely not necessary but I do so to ensure. I use Extend 800 series mold release sprayed on like water in several fast coats.

I have used this brand wax before, in making molds, from plugs, as well as molding parts out of fiberglass. My molds are generally polyester, resin as it is less expensive. The parts I choose to mold are usually made of epoxy resin. You can use the wax for either or. Make sure you have an ample layer of wax, that is coats, for your plug, to enable separation. The same for your mold, and the first time you use your mold, more coats than normal until the mold is seasoned. I also spray on an alcohol water-based PVA once the mold is wax. This helps with the release. Then I use compresses air for the separation of the part molded, to the plug.

This worked to release a mold pattern I’m making for my Harley Deuce seat. I applied 8 coats. It popped off easy.
