FYI... it was to be used with portable diesel heater. The hose and tube is way to small. There is a guy selling a set up on Eb@y ready to go that workes wonderful. Little more money but we'll worth it if using for portable diesel heater extra tank application. I feel it was falsely advertised.

Used to modify my 5 gallon gas can into a fuel tank for my diesel heater. Simple to do, works well. Recommended

I wanted to use a rotopax instead of the cheap fuel tank that comes with these Diesel Heaters. It needed a fuel pickup that would come in from the top (less likely to leak) and be sturdy. This fit the bill, it installed easily but you still have to get the nut threaded on which isn't easy in some situations. I mounted it close to the cap opening to make getting the bolt on possible. It worked well, measure on the outside and just cut off the pickup tube at an angle right at the bottom level of the container you're using.

interesting item, made it easy to fabricate a better fuel delivery system for my diesel heater (the 10 liter tank is great, but fueling every other day is too often) item is well made, works as designed. thanks.

Pieces works great. It’s nice that it comes with extra lining. Everything is working perfect myself not thinking about every single thing. I’m doing drilled the hole on the other end of the tank because I wanted it closer to my diesel heater and didn’t realize my arm won’t fit in the tank far enough for me to reach the hole. I drilled ended up having to tape two wrenches together and fighting for six hours to get the nut on it but other than my own stupidity, it works great.

I run a diesel heater in my wife's greenhouse during the winter months to keep it above 50 degrees F. Last year we ran with the diesel heater's included fuel tank which I think was around 2 liters. We had to venture out every couple of days to refill the fuel tank which was getting old. I looked for a solution that would allow fuel to be siphoned from a 5-gallon fuel jug and I found this after a few searches. Nice quality, non-corrosive metal, and the siphon tube is more than long enough. I drilled and tapped a hole in the top of the fuel jug and that was it. The diesel heater primed itself just fine and now the refueling events should be minimal.
