have not installed it yet but I have had to replace the stock one a few years ago and wished this was available then as the quality and durability is far superior than the stock part

This item works great and fits great with no more leaks or worries of leaks, only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I believe price is a touch high for what it is

Plastic junk oem elbow broke stranding me with over heating motor on side of highway. Bought another replacement plastic junk from fast parts store. it got me to home base but seeps fluid onto the head..Was wondering why coolant was low.Realized that this is a MUST to avoid the highway shoulder with 70 mph traffic flying past me. MONEY WELL SPENT!

I’ve had a small leak for a few months, maybe a year on my 2014 Ram 2500. For a while, I could only smell it and it was never enough to notice the degassing bottle loosing coolant. In the last 2 months, I noticed the buildup of dried coolant on the back of my EGR cooler on the inside near the valve cover. It’s in a weird spot for a seam leak, so I started looking. I came across this product in a Google search and figured I’d try it. At the very least it eliminates a weak point. The heater hose disconnect was the source, not the $$$ EGR cooler. The stock quick disconnect was deteriorating internally. You’ll need a crows foot, or maybe some good thin walled deep sockets to install it without removing the EGR cooler. It’s an overall easy replacement, just not so easy to reach. It’s much easier if you’re doing this in conjunction with the EGR service.
