I bought several of these cups and always hand washed and dried right away however it still would discolor. It discolored even faster if i added ice cubes to the water i had in it. I would not recommend it as they immediatly look unattractive given the black spots

The cups are fine. The hammered pattern is good, but the entire cup has lines across it that look like it has been scraped. Would buy from a different vendor, but not worth the pain of returning

These were intended to be cups for mint juleps. One arrived with an apparent defect in the rim. As I inspected it, a large metal sliver came out of the rim of the new cup, and sliced my finger. The copper plating on another is not uniform. I can put up with the defects, and can likely polish out the rim to make the cup safe to use, but the quality is low. If you're looking for a nice addition to your bar, look elsewhere.

These are no-frills copper cups good for any drink that calls for one. Try drinking wine from one, the way the Greeks and Romans probably used to--LMAO! They'd probably also be great in the bathroom for water or to hold toothbrushes and such.
