This bamboo paper towel holder has a smooth, clean finish that instantly brightened up my kitchen space. I love the simple, minimalistic designâit blends in beautifully without being bulky or distracting. Installation was fairly straightforward and it even came with a convenient L-shaped screwdriver, which made setup easier. While it did require a little more effort than expected to screw in the two tiny screws, once it was up, it worked seamlessly. Overall, itâs a pretty and practical piece that adds a natural touch to my kitchen.

I like the feel of the bamboo and how simple it was to put together. I'd recommend using your own screw driver to fasten the screws to the dowels, the one supplied barely gets the job done. The padded feet stickers are a nice touch and help to stabilize the base. All in all a nice, quality made bamboo paper towel holder!

This is a simple, very basic paper towel holder.Truly, there is nothing special about this paper towel holder. It's not a bad paper towel holder, but it's not a particularly good paper towel holder either. There are most definitely much, much better paper towel holders out there-- Like the ones that have weighted bases so that you can pull/tear off a sheet one-handed.... or the ones that have a mechanism that adds tension to the cardboard tube inside the paper towel roll, so that not only can you pull/tear a sheet off one-handed, but you can do so with great enthusiasm without consequently sending the rest of the roll into a wild tailspin, resulting in a 10 foot ribbon of paper towels spilling from your countertop to the kitchen floor. And these other options are more expensive, sure, but only marginally so. (I'm talking about a price difference that is less than what it costs to have a strip mall barista pour your morning coffee for you two days in a row.)This paper towel holder says it has a "weighted, non-slip rubber base", but it does not. The ENTIRE paper towel holder is constructed of a very lightweight, very smooth, very slippery bamboo (or bamboo-like) material, including the entirety of its base. So not only is the base not weighted in comparison to the rest of this paper towel holder's construction, but it's also not non-slip... and it's also not rubber. For what it's worth, the photos in the listing are a true representation of the actual product you'll receive, even if the description is mostly made-up. If you look closely at the photos, you'll see that the base is NOT made of rubber as I mentioned. Instead, it is the same material as the rest of the paper towel holder. As a consolation for the lack of a non-slip, rubber base, the seller/manufacturer includes 4 small foam dots that have adhesive on one side, to place under the base at each corner, helping the base to grip a countertop at least somewhat. Admittedly, adding these 4 foam dots to the base does significantly improve one's ability to snatch paper towels one-handed vs. trying to do so when the base is bare, however the base (and the entire holder) is still so very lightweight, that doing so with any level of eagerness will certainly result in the toppling over of this paper towel holder. So to summarize the justification for my rating... First, does this paper towel sufficiently hold paper towels? Technically, yes. So here's 3 stars right out the gate. But does it hold paper towels in a way that it makes at least one common household task feel even just slightly less stressful/messy/time-consuming, thereby justifying this purchase? I would say no, it does not. There are many, many other paper towel holders out there that CAN do that, and they do it every single time you need a paper towel. So I would say your search for a new paper towel holder isn't over quite yet. Keep searching, my friend.

I like this more than I thought I would. Itâs lightweight but sturdy. The wood is smooth and thick and made with quality materials. I did have a rough go of the assembly, which wasn't hard, I just had the top of the dowel screwed to the bottom plate and didnât realize my mistake until the top piece didnât fit into the screw hole. Good thing I figured it out instead of forcing it! The top should be (and is, if done correctly) easy to screw on and off. Once assembled (and it does come with the two screws and an L-shaped little screwdriver), itâs lovely! I hadnât given it much thought before but I like that the platform is a little elevated. If I spill something on the counter, it wonât soak the entire roll of paper towels. I also enjoy the top as a handle. It sure is handy to just grab that and set it where you want it! Iâm also pleased that it holds a new, full roll of paper towels! I honestly didnât think it would, it doesnât seem very big and it doesnât take up much space but somehow it does fit a new roll with room to spare. In case it needed any other features, it has the second bar to keep the paper towels from unraveling. Nice! It also comes with little sticky pads to go on the bottom to keep the wood from scratching anything.Since I got this for free I was just going to test it with paper towels and then use it as a stand for my crochet hair ties but this is too nice to waste for that! I might use it for my art desk, I always worry if I dump paint water that itâll ruin the whole roll so I usually keep them off my desk but this would keep it up high enough that wouldnât happen. Total score! Would absolutely purchase and enjoy this!I did take a photo of the top with the handle piece off so you can see the metal part goes up top (the bottom of the dowel has a drilled hole but no metal inside). I also took a photo holding the roll all the way over to the side with the fattest part toward the second pole, so you can see how much bigger the roll could be and still fit. This roll is actually kinda smashed so itâs fatter in some places and flatter in others.

This paper towel holder is easy to put together. It just requires two included screws to connect the main paper towel holder and the other piece used to help tear the paper towel. The top part that keeps the paper towel on the holder already has a screw in it to take the paper towel off and on. The paper towel holder is lighter than I expected. I like a paper towel holder to have some weight so that when I pull on the paper towel, the holder doesn't come with it. Tearing paper towels off of here ends up being a two handed job, one to hold the paper towel holder and the other to tear the paper towel. If you don't use two hands then the paper towel holder can easily move with the pull of the paper towel. The plus side of this paper towel holder is that despite its small size, it can still accommodate a large roll of paper towels. In the attached picture I put a new roll of Bounty quick size paper towels that has 141 2-ply sheets and it fit with some room to spare.Looking at the current price around 10 bucks, that seems to be priced fairly.
