Item arrived as described. upper shredder feels solid. Lower basked is oval and shredder fits well. Shredded a basket full first day. Didn't try to do many papers at the same time but seem to handle 4-8 sheets at a time well. No issues at this time.

This shredder is a nice upgrade from my old one. It has a bigger catch bin and is remarkably quieter. The shred is about 2 in long and 1/4 in wide. Some people might want a smaller shred but this is fine for my purposes. 14 pages is really the maximum that can be fed into it. But I have never run it enough at one session to cause it to overheat. I have not needed to shred a credit card or disk, so can't say how that works.

I had about 30 pounds of paper to shred And it did it with almost no sound and very effectively and never had to shut down due to overheat. Is a good quality product at a solid price

I've had this shredder for 4 months and it stopped working. The same exact problem is listed in another customer review. It was working great for a few months and is very quiet compared to my previous shredder. Then there was only one corner of the shredder that would catch the paper and shred it but now the paper won't even go through. It seems like the plastic has warped over time and is blocking the paper. I contacted customer support and will update if anything changes...

I’ve had this shredder for about 6 months and it works just like expected, however recently I ran into a problem (power went out while I was shredding and I thought it had died on me). I emailed VidaTeco and they responded very quickly, gave me a few trouble shooting suggestions, and the problem was resolved. I am very impressed with their customer service - they were very responsive and knowledgeable.

I love this machine. It has to be the quietest paper shredder I’ve ever used in my life. The motor is so quiet my sleeping partner cannot hear it running. Compared to my last shredder that sounded like a roadster revving his engine, this one is super quiet and needs no oil, which is stated in the manual. And really can take 10-14 sheets at a time. Five stars hands up.

This shredder was purchased to replace one that I broke. I didn’t realize it’s made by the same company as the first one. It is very quiet and does a great job. The top is a little heavy, so beware when emptying it. Also, it does not have an auto off after non-use like the other one did. For the price I paid, this is a great shredder. I would definitely purchase it again.
