I gave it a 4 star because one item in the package came cracked. The small white plastic paper cutter was cracked, other items came perfect. The large paper cutter is light and cuts very good.

I USE THIS TRIMMER ALMOST EVERY DAY TO TRIM PAPER AND EVEN THIN CARDBOARD. IT STAYS SHARP ANDER BEING USED HUNDREDS OF TIMES. LOVE IT.

It is as flimsy as anything I have ever seen that has a sharp(ish) blade. The plastic used is really low grade and flexable. There is nothing "sturdy" about this thing. The blade is not capable of cutting 16 sheets of anything heavier than rice paper -- I wouldn't put money on it, I am just guessing. It does cut single sheets of regular bond paper reasonably well -- which is what I bought it for. Do not expect more from this thing.
