I really like using this for pancakes and cupcakes. I always tend to make a mess when I make these things. Either the batter runs down the side of whatever I use to scoop it up, or I drip it on the counter or stove. This keeps those messes at bay. It is easy to use. It doesn't seem real sturdy so I'm hoping it holds up.

I was a bit nervous pulling this out of the box because it is so lightweight and feels like an inexpensive product, and I guess at around $12 it is inexpensive. But this did live up to expectations considering the price point. I do need to thin out the batter a bit more than I typically do in order to use this, but it closes nice and cleanly with very minimal dripping out. At the pace we make pancakes in my house, a stainless steel version of this is probably on the horizon, but this was a great start to try out and see if it would work well for how we cook pancakces.

This pancake batter dispenser is great. If you want to make pancakes the same size and kids can help pouring without making a huge mess. It doesn't work well for thicker batter, but was fun!
