These player are junk. Do not buy. They skip on new discs constantly. Do yourself a favor and pass on this player, They are worse than Sony. Save your money. They are cheaply built Plastic cases etc. You've been warned.

I was skeptical if I'd see and/or hear a difference from streaming content but I was wrong. While the picture is amazing out of the box, it takes some research and settings tweaks to get the picture to be noticeably better than streaming for HDR content. Dolby Vision stuff looks great right out of the box. However, it's the audio that REALLY made me notice. Object placement in my 9.2.4 system is much more noticeable as well as just seems to be more audio content in scenes? I was watching a scene from one of my go-to movies that took place in an office - there seemed to be more ambient office sounds, for lack of a better way to describe it. And while the content was probably always there, perhaps it got lost a bit in streaming compression. Anyway, it made me a believer and now I'm having fun tracking down deals on movies to expand my library.

I've purchased several refurb's over the years and never had an issue until this unit.Worked as advertised for about 4 months, long enough for the Amazon 90 day guarantee to run out, then the player started randomly blacking out for 2-3 seconds during a film then recently started pixelating and freezing up. Now I'm stuck with a 400.00 piece of plastic. Good luck to future customers.
