It smells great nothing too strong, it definitely has softened my Pomeranians coat and helped his skin a little, the scent doesn’t stay long it last maybe an hour and it seems to help detangle his hair for daily brush.

I can't tell that it works that well however I have a long haired poodle and I'm not sure anything other than clippers will help his matting

I had purchased the pads along with this conditioner for my doodle. The scent is there, but not strong enough I love the scent of palmers
