Used this tool once, swapping LC fiber between full 48 port blades, until the plastic end snapped off the pliers on one difficult cable. Tool was immediately useless. Sure it's better not to put that much force on it, but that's what it took to get the fiber out. My little leatherman style ps finally got the connector out. TCEXT Broke on first and only use, long after the return period expired. Will be replacing it with the all metal Miller or Jonard equivalent. It was great for the first few dozen connectors, until it broke.Update: Manufacturer replaced the broken tool under warranty, but I haven't used it since.

Fits in those close spaces in between other fittings in the rack. able to pull plug out or insert new jumper with ease. no more fumbling around with needle nose or trying to get my fat fingers in those tight places. this fits perfectly on the sc connectors allowing me to work without worry of damage or anything but what i want to do. would gladly buy again

Tool isn’t wide enough or shaped correctly for removing even moderately stuck fiber lines. For any work in data center/networking applications would recommend just pulling them out by hand, this tool is more of encumbrance than helpful. With this tool you are far more likely to slip and rip other lines out then get what you want disconnected. Would instead recommend a precision pick tool, pick allows for easy manipulation of tabs holding in connectors.
