Glad to find on Amazon the same product used in my exercise class run by physical therapists. The sturdy well-made weights arrived in a sealed plastic bag in a sturdy box. Now I can practice my exercises at home.

I like how the weights are solid and easy to put in and remove, they stay in place around the ankle as long as strapped in tight enough. Seem to be pretty durable, only have used them around ankles. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that they are a little long to where they hit the shin and/or calf when walking/running for some discomfort. I am only 5' tall so probably only will be an issue for people who are short.

These weights are great for workouts. I wear them on my wrists, but I am sure would also be great for ankles. The Velcro holds and you can adjust to your preference of tightness. The only reason for a rating of 3 is the weights rust from your sweat and adhere to the fabric and are difficult, to say the least, to remove so you can wash them.I am going to polish mine and give them a coat of paint. If I would have been aware of this, I would have painted them before ever using.

..for my older iron/sand filled ankle weights. The problem with those is that over time, the powder starts to escape, leaving residue all over, and requiring constant handwashing. Not so with these. Cleaner, much easier to put on, and more stable with the very wide velcro banding.

I purchased these to help with rehabilitation exercises. I needed the tiny increments of increasing the weight by a quarter of a pound.I just got them, but they appear very well-made. The metal weights are easy to get in and out 🥰 (the adjustable ankle sand weights that I’ve had are all really difficult to get the sandbags in and out). The neoprene makes it comfortable on your ankle, as well as the weights being smaller than sandbags makes it less bulky/more comfortable. There are two things to note with them.1-If you have larger ankles, like I do, the strap will be hitting your ankle. I suggest wearing them over socks and with the strap in the front because it seems to be less irritable. Also, I plan on lining the strap with some puffy material (like an old sock) so that the edge of the strap doesn’t rub.2-the metal weights are smooth, but there are a very few little metal dust specks when you are taking them in and out so if you are sensitive to metal, just be aware of that.At first glance, I am super happy with these! Definitely worth the money and definitely way better than sand ankle weights.
