I think an intro to me and my use is important for this product because tbh this product as a category has a bad reputation.I rescue and foster dogs as something I do in my spare time. I'm not one of those people who makes it their entire identity, but I say this to say I'm no newbie to this. I have trained many very challenging cases who may have otherwise been unhomable. These special cases absolutely require specialized training tools like remote training collars, bark collars, and *gasp* muzzles. The problem with these training tools is the misuse and misunderstanding of them. For example, the muzzles I use are soft rubber and specifically designed so that the dog can eat and drink with it on - this allows anxious dogs a safe way to be in an environment outside of the crate without their caretaker around. Not nearly as inhumane is forcing them into a small prison cell you call a crate. I'll stop here as I could go all day, but hope this convinces you it's not the tool that's bad it's the wielder of that tool.Mechanically, this collar does everything right. You press the button, it does the thing. The range is good. The response time is good. The battery life is exceptional. The only thing I wish it had mechanically is a 3rd set of longer probes for dogs with a thick coat. That aside, the design is terrible. First problem: the beep modes are reminiscent of early 2000s phone ringtones. So rather than changing the volume of the beep, what I would actually like, it has different patterns. Also the patterns are all way too slow to matter for dog training. A dog hears and perceives a correction in well under a second, faster than human perception actually. This means any tonal change that occurs more than that time away is simply wasted - if the time very quickly changed notes, then I could see this as a valuable way to give 2 dogs their own tones but this design does not achieve that.Next problem is the fit. Again, mechanically works fine but it's a slipper style clasp. This means when a dog receives a correction and instinctually scratches at the collar to get it off, they losen it and guess what? No longer making contact so no longer effective. Finally, when turning on or off the collar or bark modes it beeps *the same tone as the correction beep*. This is infuriating because of course the dog thinks it's being corrected in precisely the time that a false correction does the most harm (right after the dog has successfully come to me and sat down on command so that I can adjust the collar). The vibrate and shock only work while being held. This is OK and maybe even preferred once I get used to it, but it can be confusing to both dog and handler at first when most collars I've used will send a pre-timed correction of let's say 1 second. This consistency can be helpful when training as consistency is key with dog training. There have been multiple times I've tried using the collar shock function and it seemingly not been working. I am pretty sure this is due to the aforementioned lack of long prongs and poor ability of it to keep its tightness. This can be a very dangerous situation, because there are so many variables you have to consider. Sometimes dogs don't respond to shocks, sometimes, particularly if it's too powerful, they go on mental lock down and do not appear to be affected in any way, when actually they have entered a new panicked mental state where they will no longer respond to commands. These things are very dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced handler, as they may continue to increase the power causing a serious escalation that's bad for everyone involved. The worst part is, when you are issuing a correction like this to a problem dog it can be literally a matter of life or death - examples: running into traffic, attacking another dog, attacking another animal, attacking a small child.Last complaint is the remote. You can easily accidentally hit the wrong correction type or even slightly lean against the remote to issue an accidental correction. These lead to massive training setbacks and in the worst case may make this tool no longer viable for the training plan you had in mind. Also you have to issue a vibration or sound correction first to change the "mode" of the remote temporarily in order for the up/down to be setting the sound mode or vibration intensity. This is less than ideal for obvious reasons. With all of these shortcomings in mind, I can't recommend this to anyone not experienced with the use of these collars. If you're experienced, looking for something that's cheap, has both anti bark and a remote training collar, and it's for a dog with short to medium hair... And you're willing to take it off and walk into another room to turn the collar off/on or enable/disable the bark functionality, then this is for you.For everyone else, I recommend passing this one up sadly.Frustratingly, they are very close to an excellent product here. I do think a design revision could actually fix all of this easily and would have minimal impact to the price point. My suggestions roughly from most important to least important:- add bright LED which is exclusively used for communicating status - toggling bark modes, on/off, low battery, flash rapidly while receiving a command to issue a correction, etc. do not ever beep unless it's an issued correction by the handler. This helps the handler know it's working right, and gives confidence the collar is performing as expected.- Make 3 buttons, one for each correction type, then a single button to issue the correction that is slightly recessed and harder to hit. This would offer multiple benefits. First, it will help a ton with accidental corrections. Also you could adjust the intensity of a mode without issuing a correction. Finally, you would eliminate the risk of an accidental correction being out of order (i.e. going straight to a shock)- Add sound level adjustment in lieu of ring tones- If you keep ringtones, make their bpm extremely fast (well in excess of 100 bpm) and duration extremely short - this would actually be a stand out feature- Make clasp mechanism a tongue and loop style like a typical dog collar so that it can't losen over time or by scratching- Include 3rd longer set of prongs for long haired dogsBonus feature that would really differentiate it: allow barking to be toggled on/off with the remote. Experienced handlers know that it's important to not just stop the dog from barking due to separation anxiety, but they need to also promote healthy barking in the correct environments. This teaches the dog that it's not all barking that's bad, only anxiety driven whining/barking. This is a first step, but not the only step, towards helping a dog break their separation anxiety.

This is by far the worst collar I have ever tried. The wind set it off 1st, shocking the heck out of my puppy continuesly, I had to take the collar off her to get it to stop. Then it started shocking me . Save your dog the trama of this collar. I'm just glad I was the one that grab the collar and not a kid. It's a damn shame to pay the price I did for such a useless product.. and no the auto bark option was not on. Just a lousy collar, that traumatized my pup

Even though I find the remote a little bulky(compared to the sport dog I had before) and the material it's made of feels a little cheap, but I still gave it five star because of the price and the way it works! for the price I was a little skeptical to be honest, but I wanted to give it a fair shot and I find it to work great. I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I haven't truly tested the range but so far it worked every time I needed it out in the yard with the different sounds I found the one that works best for my dog. Battery seems to last really well. Overall just seems to be a good working product. The anti bark setting was really what sold me on this collar because I didn't want to have to buy a separate bark collar and it didn't let me down because it works great. I have a 60 pound bundle of energy and muscle and this collar works great. Now that some time has gone by I just wanted to give an update. This E-collar is still impressing me. It works great even after my dog decided to go swimming. I will give one more update once I get to see exactly how far away it works, but so far truly satisfied overall.

Before purchasing, check your devices to be sure you can charge both. Only 1 of the plugs fit my dog collar.
