This was perfect for our 5 year old! Love that it comes with everything you need - Paints, Brush, paper! The Painting Book is honestly such great quality, it's worth the price of the set! The paints are part of the book itself, which makes it super easy to keep everything together!The only drawback is if you have a child who likes a clean brush before dipping into a color you might want to add on a set of brushes as this really only comes with one brush and one water pen. My son didn't seem to care, but the color of the paint when it's all mixed isn't as accurate and brilliant as if you're using a separate brush for each color.

High value for the price! I love the watercolor pen and there are so many pictures to choose from. Our goddaughter loves painting in this book when she comes to visit. There is a good selection of colors in the paint box and the pictures to color are age appropriate and come in a wide variety. Great creative activity!

I love the packaging of this watercolor set! The box can be wrapped as is and you have a perfect present. This set includes 2 brushes; a standard brush and a brush where you can load water into the shaft and it can be used without filling a basin of water. This is also nice because when you use watercolors sometimes you want to dissolve a good amount of pigment before the colors are vivid on the page. The 2 brushes also give you the opinion to paint with a finer point or a broader brush. I also want to mention that the thickness of the paper is great quality! It's thick, sturdy, and has no odd odor. The pages aren't perforated, so if your artist like having their creations hung on the wall they will need to be cut out. My only critique is the actual pictures are highly stylized. My artist may not like some of them for that reason, but there is also aa good number of more basic pictures. I should also mention there seems to be a good volume of pigment (0.75"L x 0.5"W x 0.5" D) I think it should be more than enough to get through the book and probably one more.Overall, I would get this again, in fact I've already ordered another for my other artist.I'll update If the pigment isn't as vibrant as it looks like it should be.3*

This is a neat way for toddlers to explore painting! The colors are vibrant, and the pages are engaging and fun to paint. However, the included paint containers are quite small, so they don’t last very long. Still, it’s a great activity for little ones to get creative!

Super cute watercolor set. You get a good amount of pages for the price. The colors are vibrant enough and last a long time. The water/paintbrush is amazing! I just wish it came with 7 of them to match the 7 colors so that they could be kept separate. Once you start mixing colors, it just kind of all becomes a brownish mess. Easy enough to remedy by just using other regular brushes.The paint cleans up easily and the colors do not leak through the pages.

This is a great water color book for toddlers. Comes with paint brushes and a water pen. The individual Pages tear out which makes it easier to use when letting my toddler paint. The pages are thick, compare to a construction paper, so the colors don't bleed through. It's a good quality paint book and worth the money.
