Product came broken, needed it, that is why I ordered it. Had it not been broken, I am sure it would have worked fine. Ronald A. Stearns Retired Cabinet Shop Owner and Builder!

Great construction and holds the roller on without migration and still allows for easy removal. Ergonomically comfortable. My only complaint is that I tried 3 different extension poles and it is not properly threaded to stay on any of them.

Based on the reviews this sounded like a great paint roller frame. It is a great paint roller frame. paint rollers can be inserted easily. they click to let you know the roller is in place. it rolls well. didn't stick once.the one complaint i saw in the reviews is the frame will squeak.understatement.it squeaks. loud. drove me crazy.tested the frame until i found the squeak which for me was where the wheel frame attached to the handle. i poured a little olive oil on the wheel and turned it until the squeak went away. i've used the frame at least 7 or 8 times since and NO SQUEAK.

This is a well-made product that works well, and it's definitely a cut above the cheap wire-frame ones. However, mine has an excruciating squeak when used. After about 5 minutes this becomes unbearable. I don't know if they all squeak, or if mine is the exception; however, it makes me dread having to use it. And please don't suggest my oiling it - that stuff would almost certainly end up on the wall along with the paint!

While I haven’t had an opportunity to use this roller frame yet, I found that it appears to be quite durable and it’s fit and finish our excellent. The only downside is that it seems a bit too wide to use with the cascade tools “hard shell paint tray with liners” that I purchased to use with this roller. With one liner installed in the paint tray, the roller barely fits into and rubs both sides of the tray. This means you have to take the extra time to make sure you center the roller frame within the tray before you can apply more paint to the roller cover. While reading reviews for the paint tray, I didn’t see any mention of it being too narrow for rollers of any brand. This leads me to believe that the roller frame is too wide and not the trays being too narrow. So take that for what it’s worth. Best of luck on your painting project.
