Hi! I walk a few times a week with ankle weights. They have broken after a few weeks. Unfortunately, I just missed the return window and the customer service link says that they are not the company that sells on Amazon. I’m disappointed because they were very comfortable compared to my sand-filled ankle weights.

Love the versatility of the product without the chance of leaking sand or metal filings.

I have struggled the past 3 weeks finding a pair of adjustable ankle weights I liked. First two pair had little sand bags that you could add or take away to adjust the weight. The problem with sandbags they are too hard to insert. Plus you run the risk overtime of sandbags tearing.I adjusted my search for metal rods. Not too many options here but metal rods are the way to go for ease of adjusting. First pair I bought didn’t have enough padding and the strap system was a little cumbersome. The Gofit model was perfect. Highly recommend these for those looking for adjustable ankle weights that can adjust from 1 to 5 lbs.

I like that the weights are metal and fairly easy to remove to adjust the weight. I recommend keeping the extra weights in the original box or a designated bag so you can find them when needed. My husband uses them on a broom handle for PT from shoulder surgery and I use them on my ankles for PT for my hips. We only adjust them as our PT increases our weight. . We have not used them for walking.

Comfortable, easy to take on and off, no sliding around on my ankles. I love the adjustable weight as it gives me the opportunity to increase slowly as I build more strength. Good product!

The strap is too long and the weight is too light. Wish you guys would also provide a 20lbs.

I purchased these for my 90 year old mother. They are perfect. They fit comfortably around her ankles and I love that you can add or subtract weights in 1/2 pound increments, depending on the exercise.I did not think the description of this item was clear. I recall being a bit confused. Each ankle strap holds 10 1/2 pound weights, making each ankle strap anywhere from .5 to 5 pounds.

I would give a better rating except that one of the straps is ripped. I don't know if I dare sew it or not. I like that I have control over how much weight I put into the pockets. The little bars each weigh a pound and I remove what I don't want and put in what I do want. That is why I ordered this set. No sand to mess with. I do wish the strap itself was longer. I don't know what I will do with the strap that is torn other than to try and sew it.

i really like the heft and comfort of these ankle weights, with the added security of actual weight bars rather than the leak-able sand that seems to be most popular among other models. i haven't tried to remove any of the individual weights yet, so i can't speak to how difficult/easy that process is. so far, i've preferred to use them at their full weight capacity.two cautions: first is the size adjustment. even at their tightest, these slip and slide toward my calves quite a bit when i use them for leg lifts. i never thought of myself as having particularly tiny ankles, but it's true that I am only 5 feet tall and weigh about 118 pounds. so, these might not be the most secure choice for small women. second, if you're planning to use these to simply walk in them (rather than for targeted floor exercises), be warned that the weight bears down on your shoes if you can't tighten them enough to grip your ankles snugly.
