Had to reverse the positive and negative wire in the socket before installing the flasher. It worked then but makes no sound when activated.

I bought these after installing LED taillight units on my 1982 Chevrolet sterpside K10 as the description stated they work with low draw LEDs. They did not and the fell apart when I tried to pull them out of the fuse box socket. Amazon does sell a round unit with a clear housing that is better built and actually works.

These flashers worked well to enable my turn signals and 4 way flashers to operate once converting to LED's. They have a speed adjustment screw to vary the flash timing. This was a reasonably priced solution for me to make this conversion. NOTE: These flashers do not have an audible click like the older original equipment flashers. It was still a good investment for me.
