Bought these as a third year anniversary gift for my kid and her husband. Leather,, his and hers.The black one in the photo is mine, purchased in Kidron, Ohio many years ago.I love the new ones, suple leather rather than stiff, brown shade hides the guts better.Great purchase! Thank you!! Love all my Amish made stuff!

Description says 19", which is already a little short compared to my other swatters of 20" and 21". In reality, this swatter is only 18" which made the short length even more noticeable. The head is also about 1/2" smaller in both directions than my other swatters. Aside from that, it is good quality and will doubtless latest many years, which is how long it will take to improve my aim.

This fly swatter is 18 inches and not 19 inches like it claims on the description. It would have been a damn good fly swatter were it 21 inches and the handle a little more sturdy. It's definitely better than the plastic ones but it could definitely use the improvements as described above. I will keep it for now but I will keep looking for longer fly swatters.

These things are kind of awesome. They have a decent bit of heft in the hand compared to all plastic swatters, but they still glide through the air without significant resistance. They also feel like they'll hold up quite a bit longer and it's kind of neat they're made in the USA by the Amish. Glad they come in a two pack so I don't have to share when I want to assail flies on the porch. No one gets the cats food but the cat!

I bought my last one 3 years ago and killed a million flies with it. The metal part is very substantial and the leather is good enough to make wallets with.

They are very efficient when you aim at the bugs correctly. They gave a very hard smash! I love them! Highly recommended.
