It's a ferrite choke, these are built well and easy to use, I like the variety pack, it saves me the hassle of ordering all the sizes I need separately.

I like the size options. It’s too bad there aren’t some instructions included from an electrical engineer as to how to optimize the radio frequency interference abilities of the product.
