I am struggling with a brand new samsung dishwasher... the Bespoke series. The dish washer is excellent but the power supply radiates awful noise from 12mhz to 15mhz. S9 spikes every 50khz making using 20m nearly impossible. I could not find a safe way to install this in the dishwasher, so I opened up the wall and put in a 4 gang switch box with the filter inside. I connected short pieces of 12AWG stranded wire with correctly crimped quick connects to a receptacle added to the box. Then I used another stranded from the filter to connect to the solid 12AWG using wire nuts. Lowes sells switch plates which are like a puzzle, so you can create a 3 blank one receptacle switch plate. Thank you to the genius who came up with that idea! Anyway, now it just looks like a single outlet, inside the cabinets. You should also install a GFI breaker if you are making it an outlet. Anyway, once installed I was RELIEVED to see the noise floor drop to S3 or lower in USB. It's not gone though. If I switch to AM it's still an S8.So does it work? Yes, it works. I can now use USB and CW again on 20m without issues. The noise is still there, but it's faint and completely disappears once the AGC kicks in.
