I bought this in an attempt to fix DAB interference from my rear dashcam. Unfortunately these did not fix the issue. I attached one near the base of the rear dashcam cable as well as near the front of the cable connecting to the main dashcam. No luck. Attached multiple cores on the rear dashcam cable near the rear window and also no luck.Waste of money for me but you may have different results.

Have a dash cam that kills my local radio stations. Put one near cam and plug. Radio picks up now.

I admit I may have bought these for the wrong scenario, I was trying to reduce buzzing noise for an aux line-in audio signal to my computer, but this did nothing to reduce the noise. The product I needed was a ground loop isolator.

There is not much to get wrong on these beads, the clasps work fine, as long as the cable it is being installed on is of the right gauge, it goes on easily.They come closed and you may need to use a small flat screw driver to open them, but that is what is needed for them to be secured to the cables when installed.
