Product worked instantly! Water hoses on the back of the washing machine was jumping and vibrating. Striking the wall and making a knocking sound. Installed on the back of the washer and no more jumping and vibrating! Very easy to install.

My home was built in 1987, and the plumbing is basically original. I've lived here for nearly 20 years, and have owned three washing machines. The pipes would always bang when the machine would stop filling. It was always kind of annoying, but I just lived with it. I installed these hammer arrester and just ran three loads of laundry, and all of that noise is completely gone. Wish I would have known sooner. Plus, these were half the cost for the pair than purchasing locally at a home improvement store.

Got these to try and minimize the impact of my front load washer on my pipes as its solenoid was wrecking my pipes. Worked pretty well for just about a year but then both failed. Disappointing.

My pipes would always bang really loud whenever I was doing the laundry and I just thought that's the way it was. Come to find out that these water hammer arrestors are a thing. Never knew it. Cut down the banging noise by about 75-80%. Good for the price

Pressure valves work great. Has dramatically softened the bang. I need to find the pipe under the house and fasten a plastic pipe clamp to the rafter. I’m sure with all the banging under the house, a pipe clamp finally gave out and caused the pipe to continue the banging sound, but in a much softer fashion. One clamp should do it.CAUTION WHEN INSTALLING VALVES: I found it best to remove the current hoses from the back of washer first. Then attach the arrestor valve to back of washer first. Then then hose to the bottom of arrestor last. I found this makes it easier to install by allowing more room to move fingers in such a small space. Also be careful to not cross-thread the plastic male threaded fitting from washer. It’s very easy to cross-thread metal to plastic connections. Attaching valve to washer first will allow the room needed to attach correctly.(This is just my experience with this type of task). Hope this helps!

These were recommended to address a plumber's misdiagnosed issue. The product arrived quickly, but I had concerns after the "delivery driver" threw the package; I could hear the contents bouncing around violently. Upon inspection, the product appeared fine. It installed easily, less than 5 mins has no leaks, and appears to be working correctly.

After purchasing a new washer and dryer, we noticed water hammer issues. The laundry room in our home is on the second level, and I would see and hear water hammer all the way in the basement at the water meter/ main line in. We have an older home with a mix of copper and pex serving this appliance. These devices are extremely heavy duty, install easily and completely eliminated all water hammer related noise. Very happy with this purchase !

Lo compre para usar en la toma de la lavadora (agua fria y caliente), tambien compre un medidor de presion para la tuberias. Las mediciones muestra que no hay ninguna diferencia de usarlos o no.

Recently bought a Maytag top load washer. Shortly after installation we started hearing banging in the wall behind the washer. After online research, I learned about "water hammer". I had never heard the term before and no experience with the issue. Ordered the Water Hammer Arrestors and the problem is gone! No more banging in the wall! Easy to install, only took a few minutes! I put mine on the tap at the wall, not on the back of the washer. Highly recommend these arrestors if you have a water hammer issue! Definitely would purchase again!

Having just bought a new LG Washer, a brand notorious for Water Hammer, I looked long and hard at the many products available, and am glad I chose a pair of these. If possible, they are best installed on the washing machine itself, by removing the water hoses on the washing machine, replacing with these, then attaching the hoses to these Arrestors. Of course, turn off the hot and cold water first, and have a bucket underneath to catch the water as you first remove the hoses. I bought Milwaukee 6" slip joint pliers just for this job, and they fit perfectly at full jaw opening. The pliers will be a welcome addition for any outdoor garden hose-related issues.

Very easy installation process (attached directly to the hot and cold inlets on my LG washer. This took care of the water hammer caused by the rapid opening of the solenoid valves that engage when the washer fills at the beginning of the cycle. The machine runs silently after the installation. Here is my only gripe - the packaging label is very ambiguous. In two places it says lead free and in a third it indicates a low lead content. Since I am not using this on a potable water line I was not too concerned about the ambiguity. It would be really great if the vendor would weigh in on this and indicate if this product is truly lead free - for peace of mind in potable water applications.
