I ended up needing to use a steel line because hard line didn't pass inspection. Didn't leak but code told me that I needed to replace it with a flexible steel line. If you don't need to kiss code enforcement butt, it worked fine.

Two EFIELD 1/2 Inch Pex x 7/8 Inch Toilet Ballcock Swivel Straight Adapters used to modify the 3/8 pex supply pipe for my toilets to add bidets. I found no 3/8 pex x 7/8 Ballcock fittings, so I had to use these 1/2 pex x 7/8 Ballcock fittings, a 2" section of 1/2" pex, and a 1/2 pex x 3/8 pex reducer fitting. Worked okay, and all of the stainless steel pex clamps sealed the fittings appropriately.The 7/8 swivel has a medium-soft rubber dome-shaped seal, as required for most toilet valve inlets, making a good seal by being just hand-tight. The brass pex end was machined, not cast, with nice, sharp edges on all three lands for making a good seal. No complaints here!

This is a good quality product. My only issue was trying to eye the try size of the product to ensure that it would fit prior to purchase. I encourage buyers to do a real-world size comparison prior to purchase.
