Richiesto reso.

The Kandle Flex is just a perfect book light, yes it can be used on a Kindle / eReaders but I do love just sitting with a good old book and reading. If I'm honest, it's been a while since I have read a book. The only time I get to read a book is in the evening, and by this time it is far to dark and I don't want to but the 'big light' on, just for me to read. Now since I ordered my self this LED reading light I have really enjoyed reading so much more, not distracting the household with lights on late at night, I can sit in bed and read my book without causing a disturbance.I just needed to pull it apart to clip around my book and it is very very firmly in place. I then read my book as normal turning the pages as normal. The light does have the ability to move so you can move the position per page if you wish, but I have enjoyed just leaving it central as it gives just the right amount of light to cover either page, but doesn't like the room up, so no disturbing the other half when he's asleep. To turn it on you just need to flick the switch which is on the lamp, and now you are ready to read.It arrived really well too, packaged in it compact box, there is also a carry bag to protect your Kandle. The Kandle requires CR2032 batteries, it has 2 inside, and an additional batteries.Since receiving this, a few weeks ago, me and my children have started reading Harry Potter together, so in the evenings we have spare time, we will go to bed earlier and read a chapter per night.I really would recommend this if you are looking for a treat for yourself or maybe even a gift for someone that likes reading!

This light is amazing! It's very bright even on the dimmer setting which is not necessarily a bad thing as you can position the light away so that it doesn't glare too much. It attaches onto your device without marking. Very secure and a flexible adjustment. I chose this one over the original and others as I've seen quite a lot of large bulky clip-on lights I felt were too big. My only slight gripe is unfortunately it doesn't fit over a kindle with a case on but personally for me it is not a problem as I only use my case when I go outside. When i'm inside at night, ready to get under the duvet for some quiet reading time, I take the case off and attach the light. So far so good, no signs of wear and tear. The handy pouch makes travelling a doddle, and extra batteries is such a generous addition!

The light became loose very quickly and would not stay in place once positioned, "falling" constantly, making it impossible to read with.

Purchased for use with my kindle. Provides good light and fits kindle well. Unfortunately the neck of the light just randomly broke the second time I used it so that it will not hold position and just flops around. The light still works and a little tape fixed the issue, but shoddy craftsmanship.

The light works great, but the one I bought for my 10-year-old isn't doing so great. The neck on the light swivels and if it is swiveled too many times in one direction it starts getting pretty loose.

I really wanted to like this light. I was so excited to get it. It worked really well and fit with my kindle perfectly. However, just after 2 days of usage, the base of the light part got flimsy and could not stay on to light the kindle anymore. It's too fragile for this price. I won't really complain if it costs 5-10 dollars. Maybe it's just a bad luck of mine for getting a flawed product or maybe I handled it too rough. But I think I have handled it in a usual way that people who need reading light would treat it. If it's too fragile, then it's not suitable for portable use. I think it would work fine if you only place it on your night stand. But if you plan to take it traveling with you, then you may want to find something more durable.

This is my third booklight for my Kobo and the best so far.Pros:- 2 light levels- sturdy gooseneck (I had a different a gooseneck before and it lost strength/form after a couple months and would droop)Cons:- Would be much better if it was rechargeable instead of running on batteries. Then you can fall asleep reading without worrying about wasting batteries. I would give it 5 stars if it was rechargable- Doesn't fit over both the reader and the cover, just the ereader.- When using both a cover and the light, the light clip is wide so it kind of gets in the way of the Kobo's cover's corner elastics, and the elastics get in the way of the on/off switch. It's not too bothersome, but you have to push the elastic aside to get to the switch.

Brightness:The light has two brightness levels, but the low level is mid-way between off and bright, and hard to select (VERY small switch). Also, the low level is still too bright for me for night reading. Not horrible, but brighter than what I would call LOW at night. The color is stark white (not at all amber) and there are three LEDs in the head, which probably is unimiportant -- not sure how it affects life (brightness vs. consumption) and increases glare if anything (must move all three bulb-reflections off the reading area).Steerable:The good news...you can aim the light anywhere you like, which allows you to light th entire page and eliminate glare. I put mine on the top, all the way to the left, as the goose-neck comes from that side. Let's face it...with reading sitting, standing, reclined, on my side, there is no ONE position that will solve all cases. Being able to aim it is VERY helpful to me. The one drawback is that the goose-neck doesn't have very good memory (some might call it too much). It tends to return to a less-bent angle after you position it. Would like it to stay where I position it.Weight:You don't even notice that it's on the Kindle. The whole device probably weighs less than a single AA battery. The CR2032 batteries will break you if you buy them at CVS or Walmart, but you can get 25 of them from AMAZON (yippee) for only about $4 (at least as of this time).Strength:I have not had it long enough to know if it will hold up. I am a bit worried about the tiny switch and the clamping method. There is no obvious way to adjust the spring tension, for example. Adequate now, but???Price:I think this device is WAY overpriced at $25, but I also haven't seen anything that I would like better at up to $40, so it may still be the best overall deal.

After reading reviews for various kindle lights, I chose the Kandle based mostly on the recommendations and reviews of others. The price also seemed fair compared to other lights and the options that this particular light has. Considering all those things, I am happy to say that the previous reviews were right on the money, and I am very happy with this purchase. The light is plenty bright, and even though it has two different settings, the lower setting is easily enough to read by. The flexible arm is also nice, because it can be bent to any angle, so you can attach the Kandle pretty much anywhere (side or top), and just adjust the light as needed. The light itself actually tucks in between the clip pieces, which is very nice for travel... protects the light from damage. In addition, the clip pieces have a strong grip, and fit nicely over my kindle by itself, but can also be pulled apart to fit over both the kindle and the cover I have on my kindle. It is a bit of a snug fit, and my case is just a canvas and cloth case, so it's possible that you might have a hard time getting the Kandle to fit over your kindle and case if the case is thick leather (but I wouldn't know for sure, the cloth case is the only one I have ever had).I also like that this light came with two sets of batteries (one set already inside). I hate having to go out and buy batteries, so it's nice that this light comes "stocked" and ready to go.Overall, great product, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a light for reading.

the Kandle Flex is a very versatile light that fits onto books AND ebook readers durrr? The light itself is surprisingly bright and due to its flexible neck, it can be used on a wide range of surfaces.Quality - It is made of plastic, but it definately doesnt feel cheap.Packaging - comes very well packaged with some other goodies. It comes with batteries installed and an extra pair plus a small little carrying puch ( personally don't use it much)Light - The light itself is surprisingly bright! luckily, theres a button for two levels of brightness. I usually end up using the lower brightness setting to read and its still plenty!Clip - The clip on this was a little funkier than I had expected. I thought there would be a standard clip ( like on clothespin)but the entire back portion of the light moves back so that the kindle or book will fit snugly.other thoughts - I've used this with a good 'ol fashion paper book and worked well on that also, but I can see that it might cause some issues for books that are too thick but I guess you can clip just a bunch of pages of the cover sticks out too much. All in all, I'm very happy with the light and as far as I can tell, its nearly perfect!
