I get my eggs fresh from a farm and after I wash them, need to put them somewhere. This works perfectly and I've given a couple away. It holds a nice amount!

We live on a sailboat so our fridge is not like what people have in their homes. Stuff gets removed and replaced a lot and eggs are an issue - the more you move them the more the risk of breaking them. I wound up using strong rubber bands (elastics) at each end to keep the lid on, and covering the eggs with a tea towel to keep them in place. Thus modified, I can be a bit less paranoid about moving the box a dozen times a day. Having said that, OXO always uses good sturdy plastic and I think I'd have to try hard to break this box. Excellent purchase for a home though

I had a very old fridge egg holder. This one beats that one by a mile. First it has a cover. My loaf of bread fits on there perfectly. Second the inside section where the eggs sit is removable and washable. If an egg breaks, it is easy to clean. It holds more than 18 eggs so when you have a few left over and you are adding a carton of eggs it works out great. I love it. I may seem like a simple thing but it works so efficiently for my fridge and family. Great design.

Bought this for our house and loved the fact that you can store extra goodies on top of the lid - a really great space saver for fridges that are always overflowing! Loved it so much that we bought a second one!

Very solid container, no more getting surprised by opening cardboard to find one egg left. It would have been a plus maybe to have a slide-out rack (you have to open it from the top). One extra use I thought of is you could remove the egg tray and have a really good-sized container for marinading meats overnight, then dishwash it and go back to holding eggs. You pay more for Oxo but the quality shows.

Hace tiempo compré unos contenedores de huevos pero los huevos se humedecÃan, probablemente porque el contenedor era hermético, lo cual me parece muy práctico porque puedes mover los contenedores de un lado a otro de la nevera y no se caen los huevos pero el tema de la humedad es muy importante y por lo tanto no me sirvieron.Compré este contenedor con cierto temor por la cuestión de la humedad pero como no cierra herméticamente sino sólo se asienta la tapa pues no tiene ese problema. No me molesta que no pueda estar moviendo el contenedor sin el riesgo de que se caigan los huevos ya que el contenedor tiene su propio espacio dentro de la nevera.Le caben 20 huevos y se pueden asentar otras cosas sobre la tapa sin ningún problema.

Good to have a crush proof container for eggs in my fridge and one that I can wash as well. Cardboard ones you get are ok but not reusable since you can't wash them. This holds more than a dozen which is a plus. I like the top lid (good for stacking) and size works well for all size eggs. Recomended.
