I finally found the perfect ice cream scoop! This works perfectly, is dishwasher safe, is the perfect size, and is sturdy. It scoops ice cream with no problems and doesn't have a gross coating that will rust or peel off like others. I was so happy with it I bought the smaller version to use for my cookies!

I'm very happy to have gotten this. I use it for more than just ice cream, portioning cookie dough, scooping over cheesed pasta, I'm certain I'll find more uses. Do need to add an advisory. It is a biggish scoop and retains warmth to glide through frozen things…I've had to be more perceptive of the serving volumes of ice cream. "spade" is a well used term for this. Very sturdy, well built, does more than scooping ice cream

Good quality. Works much better than a traditional ice cream scoop. Perfect for my weak wrists, as it easily cuts into ice cream.

I needed an ice cream scoop, seemingly a mundane thing. Surprisingly, there's an entire sea of choices and price ranges for something someone would consider such a basic household staple.I landed in this OXO scoop based on reviews from other websites. I have other OXO kitchen utensils and cookware, I like the brand. So I was pleased to see this was one of the more highly rated.I got the one that is just a scoop, not the one with the thumb press lever.It's just a nice, simple ice cream scoop, that is the perfect size. I didn't want something too short, and I wanted one with a good grip. Bonus that it's dishwasher safe, even though I hand wash it. Some reviews mentioned it being heavy, for me, it's the perfect weight.In my opinion, this is another OXO kitchen win.

I tend to really like Oxo products they tend to be well manufactured. This one is no exception. It is heavy and feels solid in your hand and it does a wonderful job of scooping up harder frozen icecream which is the reason I bought it. It does a better job than a regular scoop. I only several scoops and this is the only one that can actually scoop frozen solid icecream. I have no problem recommending this product.

Designed for right handers only. But I’m sure most people don’t care and don’t have a problem using it if they are left handed. Works well and seems durable.

I have been looking for a stainless steel ice cream scoop for a long time. I didn't want anything that was chrome plated since they don't last. This was such a great buy. The scoop is a little heavy, but it's indicative that it's solid stainless steel. The grip is also perfectly designed. It works great even with ice cream that's a little hard since I have my freezer on quite a low setting. Would totally recommend for ice cream lovers.
