My husband was very happy with his new tool as it is sturdier than the regular ones at the stores … our last one broke and he wanted a better one this time. So far really happy

Love OXO design and quality. Easy clean. Surprised we went years without this kitchen gadget that is easy to use to juice lemons, limes, and oranges. Gets every last drop so no waste! Hint: put fruit in microwave a few seconds helps juice flow more easily.

If someone had come up to me a decade ago and solemnly declared, "One day, you'll be so moved by a citrus squeezer that you'll write an impassioned review about it on Amazon," I would have laughed heartily, questioning their grasp on reality. Yet, the universe loves irony, and here I am, doing exactly that.Let's talk about the OXO Good Grips Citrus Squeezer, the Leonardo DiCaprio of kitchen gadgets - excellent in performance and disappointingly overlooked at award shows. This isn't just a citrus squeezer; it's a testament to human ingenuity. I've gone through more squeezers than I care to admit, each promising to be the one that would change my life, only to leave me more disillusioned with the citrus-squeezing segment of the kitchen appliance industry. That is, until I met the OXO Good Grips. The craftsmanship? Exquisite. The paint job on this squeezer makes it look like it should be hanging in an art gallery rather than being used to assault innocent lemons and limes. And the comfort of the handle? Let's just say my hands have never felt more pampered, even if they're committing citricide. It's like OXO somehow knows the ergonomic needs of my palms better than I do.Now, onto the squeezing action - it's like this device was designed by Newton himself, taking into account every law of physics to extract every last drop of juice. It's so efficient, I'm half-convinced it could squeeze juice out of a rock. The only tiny, minuscule, almost-not-worth-mentioning issue is the size of the holes. They're just a tad too generous, letting some of the smaller seeds sneak into the juice, like tiny, unwanted party crashers. But let's not dwell on the negatives. After all, it's a citrus squeezer, not a perfect life. The point is, this device has elevated my kitchen game to levels I didn't know existed. Breakfasts are zestier, dinners are tangier, and I can't remember the last time I was this hydrated. So, to the OXO Good Grips Citrus Squeezer, I say thank you. Thank you for showing me that it's okay to believe in love at first squeeze. And to those reading this, wondering if they really need another gadget in their kitchen - yes, you do. You just don't know it yet.

I absolutely love my lemon/lime squeezer! It has become an essential tool in my kitchen for when I want to add a burst of citrus flavor to my dishes. The ergonomic design makes it easy to use, and the sturdy construction ensures that it can handle even the toughest of limes It efficiently extracts every last drop of juice without any seeds or pulp getting in the way. Cleaning is a breeze too - just give it a quick rinse under running water and it's good as new. Whether I'm making fresh lemonade, adding a zing to my salad dressing, or squeezing lime over tacos, this little gadget never fails me. It's definitely worth investing in if you love cooking with citrus!

I like the Oxo juicer a lot but I'm worried about the reports of the anodized aluminum oxidizing and turning black.I clean it every time after using it. Only squeeze limes for vodka tonics. This thing doesn't really flatten the limes. I slice them radially after halving them so they will crush better. I think.Have tried it with the limes cut and uncut and it's OK uncut but you can't put the half of a lime into the drink. Sorta clogs things up.Will keep an eye on it and see if it turns. If the finish starts coming off it may need to be nitrided like a Glock pistol. LOL.As is, it's a 4 out of 5. If and when it oxidizes (ironic for a company named OXO) it deserves a 2.Like many of y'all I like OXO but once in a while one of their products turns out lousy.OTOH, The Oxo shot/jigger is a great item. Best jigger I've ever owned. Like the rubber around the middle.
