I had never heard of this device before and bought a cheaper one from some random seller. It was awful and I think it's made out of lead. This item is perfect and seems like it will last a lifetime. Good quality, easy to use, works GREAT and I'm thinking it should be easy to use when I'm a Senior Citizen. I just set it on the counter, add my citrus and push down. So easy and makes a LOT of juice!

The stainless steel is nice for the handle strength. But it’s a poor design at the fulcrum, it’s bending inward already and now the presser is sticking to the basket and almost won’t close. 3 uses, 4 lemons and 3 limes total. This should have been $10.

Bought this mostly for preparing cocktails but now we use it all the time around the kitchen. It is so sturdy and easy to use and easy to clean in the dishwasher. Well worth the money!

I've been using the Gourmet Easy stainless steel juicer for a few days and am mostly pleased with its performance. This manual juicer is a step from others I've tried, particularly its versatility and ease of use. Thanks to its extra-large compartment, it handles not only lemons but also larger fruits like oranges and pomegranates. It's fantastic not having to rely on electricity, making it my go-to for car camping trips. The ergonomic handle design makes the squeezing process comfortable, and I can attest that it's easy enough for people of all ages to use. Cleaning is a breeze—just a quick rinse under running water, and it’s ready to go again. Plus, it's made from 100% Food-Grade Stainless Steel, which not only looks sleek but has also remained rust-free and shiny despite frequent use. However, there's a slight drawback: while it's sturdy and well-built, the squeezer requires a fair bit of strength to handle larger, tougher citrus-like grapefruits, which can be a bit of a workout. A bit more leverage in the handle design would make this a solid five-star product.Overall, the Gourmet Easy juicer is a reliable kitchen tool I recommend to anyone looking to make quick, fresh juices without the fuss of an electric juicer. It’s nearly perfect and certainly built to last!

What makes a good manual juicer? To me it is ease of use & juice yield plus a 3rd which I will mention further down. Some do not like the weight, some do not like the size & some just don't like how it goes with their kitchens esthetics. I lack the hand strength I used to have due to age and some slight Arthritis. If I had the strenght the manual juicers I have purchased before this unit gave me zero confidence they could be pushed hard enough to extract a higher yield OR that harder pushing would not simply over time result in breakage. Having issues with my hands I can say with supreme confidence that this unit is built for the elderly & the strong alike. I actually purchased 5 different type manual juicers with the intent of keeping at least 2 the extra one becoming a backup. I no longer will be keeping 2 as this unit needs no backup! As for the others they were all decent but all had some flaw that left me with a decision on what to give up to keep either of them. one was great but was discoloring from the 1st use, one was too hard to push, one was to hard to control with my hands without eventually spilling juice, PLUS not 1 of them had the materials or the right construction to guarantee any confidence in the units longevity. As for this unit it is obviously high quality stainless steel making it a bit heavy and guaranteeing it will not only last but look good doing it and guarantee the highest yield of juice every time as their pusher goes further then any of the others. As for it being heavy that sounds to some like having to heave that weight all the time will be cumbersome or difficult. The weight balance is perfect making it no harder than moving a pot onto a stove. BUT that heavy SCREAMS at you to push as hard as you want because I will never break. So that brings us to the 3rd reason what makes a good manual juicer the confidence the juicer you spent your hard earned dollars on will actually last forever. Yes this juicer cost more than most of the other manual juicers but it also gives more and frankly that price even seems a bit low to me for something I believe will never need replacing.ONE minor detail, I am sure you can do this BUT I would never ever put whole "unpeeled fruit" into this juicer even though they claim you can. I have no doubt it will indeed juice a whole lemon BUT (big BUT coming) when the skin finally yields and breaks open unless you are going tortoise slow it is going to force a fair ammount of juice out the top probably explosively even (if you do take a video and post it should be hilarious). This is not a fully closed juicer which is what would be required in order to accomplish that without the mess - takes a second to cut a piece of fruit suggest taking that extra time.

Handy to have and works much better than a hand held juicer. Recommend you cut your fruit into quarters for best effect. Juice a bag of limes in no time flat for that pitcher of G&Ts!

I absolutely love this juicer! I have used it every morning to squeeze lemons for the last 2 weeks. I am extremely impressed with the sturdiness & craftsmanship of this juicer. The handle doesn't flex at all when I put a lot of force on it to get every last drop from the lemon. I lean into it! The built-in strainer does a good job of keeping the larger pieces of pulp from the cup. Speaking of, the cup is roomy enough to fit a large lemon half & still have plenty of squeezing power. I appreciate the built-in spout to pour the juice into a drinking cup too. The handle is easy to remove for cleaning as well.

I find it to be a very fine product. I used to own a bar and have tried all sorts of Home choosers from the the simple round sort of juicers that are common and cheaper versions of this style and this is a huge step up. This thing sits flat on the counter so you don't have to squeeze it all, you can just push down on it. It is huge so it'll hold like half an orange. And The metal is super thick the build quality is superlative I don't expect that I'll be buying another two through my lifetime. My only nit is that it sometimes comes apart at the hinge but it that's a pretty minor thing because the fact that it comes apart makes clean up very easy. Overall,a great product as a bar owner I highly recommend and use in my home bar regularly.
