Way brighter than halogens. Only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is because I had to order custom made dust cap covers because of the cooling fan. They have them on ebay for $25. Not a big deal just wanted to share incase it helps someone else. I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 non projector headlights. That being said I highly recommend these leds

This is my favorite led replacement bulb. The color, intensity and beam makes night driving less strain on the eyes. Just make sure the orientation of the bulb is properly aligned, the led's should be at 9 & 3 o'clock.I am using these bulbs on a Subaru Outback with the projector headlights. I had the older version of these bulbs with the pigtail but after 2 years one side of the led went out. I tried other brands but none worth the money and lighting quality of the Oxilam M5S. I hope this newer version will last longer. Highly recommended.

Pretty nice to include a pair of white cloth gloves so that you can handle the bulbs without contaminating them. I replaced a more expensive set with these that burned out in 2 yrs. Hope these last longer. And they didn't require any kind of wiring adapter. Simple plug and play!

After 3 months of use, one of the bulbs began to flicker. Bulbs were brighter and whiter than the OEM. Nice packaging. I've had poor results with LED automotive headlights and will return to conventional bulbs.

I bought new headlight assemblies for my 2014 Hyundai Sonata. The OEM halogen lamps had burned out the original aluminized projectors, as noted in many You Tube videos. VERY POOR HYUNDAI ENGINEERING !!As part of the renewal, LED lamps were ordered to replace the Halogen. Unfortunately, the least expensive LED lamps turned out to be the most expensive as they were difficult to install with absolutely no instructions from the manufacturer (or supplier?).The car was disassembled according to the You Tube videos, but the LED re-assembly was difficult and resulted in three lamps that did not burn and two that would not stay in their tiny homes in the headlight assembly.So i sent the "inexpensive" lamps back and ordered the OXILAM lamps (4 H7 and 2 H8) which cost quite a bit more. Dis-assembled car sat forlornly in the driveway for a week waiting on lamps.After opening the new boxes, I found a little OXILAM instruction booklet which contained some absolutely critical information. The lamps fit perfectly into their tiny nests as i held the light assembly in my lap. Thirty minutes later I had all 6 lamps burning brightly and two hours after that I had the car re-assembled and a big smile on my face. Three hours of night driving in deer country this week convinced me that it was all worth it. I can see at night !! I installed these a few months ago, and at first they were very nice. Could be brighter, but noticeably brighter than the halogen bulbs I had in previously. However after the first month (unfortunately after the 30 day mark) the passenger side bulb started dimming, on and off frequently. After a few times of this happening I got out and looked at them to see if it was completely out. It was not, and from close up you couldn’t tell much of a difference. However when I’m driving I can’t see the side of the road, which is extremely dangerous where I am located. There are a lot of animals that will jump out and normally I’d be able to see them prior to that happening, but now I am not able to. I’ve gone through the other reviews and noticed I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I have also tried to troubleshoot myself to see if I may have installed it incorrectly, or maybe it was a wiring issue on my end. When I put my halogen bulbs back in, there were absolutely no issues. I went back to check, and the installation was correct. In theory these would’ve been very nice bulbs, but unfortunately they are unsafe and not worth your time or money.
