Didn’t have any problems with them getting smashed. I could see it happening if you apply to much torque to the screws, but if you apply enough to secure the outlet or switch, there’s no problem at all. No need to keep searching, these do the job they’re intended for.

Our electrician installed outlet boxes anticipating we were putting in sheetrock. When we put in paneling, there was a gap when we tried install outlet covers. This set of spacers worked perfectly!

The spacers fixed all of ny loose outlets and switches. The looseness was due to tiling and the box being set back from thickness of the tile and mastic.You use what you need to make up the thickness and everything turns out perfect.

Very difficult to use as is. Almost impossible to install without a modification.I wrapped the blocks with electrical tape and punched a hole where the screw would go. This worked perfectly and stayed in place while I screwed to outlet back in place. If you don't do this, it will be extremely difficult to keep the blocks in place.

Love this product. After putting up a 1/4" sheetrock over an old wall, all the outlets were recessed. I was trading them out anyway with new white ones and these little jewels were perfect to bring the outlet up even with the new wall.

Used when upgrading outlets/switches in 95 yr old house. Very useful in making outlets flush will walk. Very easy to use and these are much less expensive than the box stores

This product is exactly what I needed. I installed all of my electrical boxes before I put some thick sheeting and wood paneling on my walls. I couldn’t figure out how I was going to make the outlets look nice until I saw a tutorial on this awesome product. Totally works, super cheap, And easy to figure out even for a DIYer like me.
